Street sweeper literally just picks up dirt and doesn't use water when passing through the streets. The light posts on evergreen between duncannon and highland are still not operational. Hopefully these matters are addressed.

I've been staying here for about 5 years now! Duarte, CA is a pretty nice little place, with a great community of people and businesses. There's a little something for everyone here. Duarte is also surrounded by other very nice cities such as Arcadia, Monrovia, etc and isn't very far from Pasadena, CA.

There is all kind's of fun things to do and check out around here. It also has some of the greatest sights around, as it is surrounded by mountain's with amazing view's. Duarte, CA is also home of the City Of Hope Cancer Center, which is one of the greatest Cancer Treatment Centers in the World.

There is many places to shop, and eat in Duarte, lot's and lot's of hidden jewels spread all over the city. They provide lot's of transportation services, so you will have no trouble getting around here. From busses to trams, taxi's and more. Perfect and nice and quiet place to retire in and it has a well diverse population of people, food and shops.

The city of Duarte offered a free California native/friendly garden design workshop. It was very informative and they provided us with books we could keep and take home. The city of Duarte is community focused and a conscientious city. More cities should take the same approach.

Duarte is a hidden gem in the San Gabriel Valley. Duarte now has the best Performing Arts High School in Southern California, one of the best cancer, diabetes hospitals in the world (City of Hope), the safest city around the San Gabriel mountain. We are making great changes and we always welcome great people and businesses (esp. biotech)to be part of Duarte!

I like Duarte. It has a small town feel to it for me. I'm always there and do a lot of my shopping there as well.
