Actually called Valero gas station. Really expensive gas, not what Googlemaps stated. Squeegee was old and didn’t work and no paper towels. If I pay premium prices for gas I expect decent service. Pass this place by and find a cheaper gas station that takes care of their customers.

This is a Valero gas station.
Because of its remote location on Hwy 111, they take insane advantage!!!
Gas per gallon in town, and just off interstate 10, hovered around $4.19.
At this station, it was well over $6.00
This is an obscene abuse and is blatant price gouging!!!
Unless you are desperate, avoid this station at all cost...pun intended.
Put these money hungry hacks out of business...DO NOT PATRONIZE THEM!!!

We usually stop by on our way back from Palm Springs. The store/ restrooms are ALWAYS Clean. The staff are ALWAYS very nice. They Do Not Price gouge like other small stores in the middle of no where do. Make sure to hold on to your door when you open it cuz it can get it a bit windy. There is a small round table on the outside where you can sit for a minute before you get back on the road.

I just love that little red head that works there. She's always so helpful and always has a smile. I give her five stars alone. The gas station is convenient in the middle of nowhere...

This place is terrible! It's overpriced (a dollar or two more than any gas station in town) disgusting, rat ridden (one walked across my foot once when I was in an aisle, and you can see holes chewed into packages all the time), always smells like sewage, and every time I break down and get food or snacks there because I'm hungry and haven't eaten yet, the food is expired by several months at the very least. One time I bought candy that had been expired for two years! The employees are rude as well. The one with the messed up teeth (I think her name was Judy or Julie or something) is the absolute worst. Pretty sure she's the manager. She always has an attitude and I have never seen her be polite. This place is on the way to work, so it's convenient, but I'll be making the trip into town for gas from now on. Do not give this place your business!

A right sh-t hole this place is. The pumps don’t take credit cards and when one inquires with the man behind the counter as to which pump works, all you get back is a blank stare along with, “That’s beyond my pay grade. People come in here real irate.” Yet, if you NEED gas like I did, once it’s in your tank and you’re away from this god-forsaken “sunken place” of backwoodsmanship, a certain sense of gratitude seeps through that you didn’t run out of gas in the 111. Bottom line is: Don’t stop here if you don’t have to!

I've never stopped here, but I think Tom Waits could write a great song about it.
