We had a new home built and were extremely pleased to see how well the permitting all came together. The staff were great to deal with and very communicative. They have a difficult job to do but do it very well to make it easier to complete the build and take occupancy.

The single purpose of this office is to force you to build something so that it can be illegal so that later they can extort you for even more money because they refuse to help you do things the right way the first..

They enforce the code yet they don't know any information if you're to ask them questions.

They intentionally work with contractors so that you're forced to overpay so that someone else can handle the logistic nightmare which is getting answers about your permit..

The rude or disrespectful they don't have any patients so basically they're doing an outstanding job as government employees.

Remember this office makes criminals of everyday good citizens.

Bldg personnel were not really that personable or friendly Was more like I was a number than i was a name. I felt rushed and was the only applicant in the Bldg Dept at the time. Granted it was 30 mins prior to close of business but that should make no difference whatsoever from a customer service perspective in my opinion. I'll be back only because my job demands it.
