No way to talk to a live person. If you do they don't know how to help you (aka they don't care) Went in person to the office and the woman at the front desk said that she was new and didn't know how to help me. I guess the employees don't get any training and just get assigned random jobs when they apply. Must be nice to get paid and not do anything all day. Does anyone know how to get hired there? I'd love to make money sitting on my a-- and ignoring phone calls

The staff was nice and helped me to resolve my issues in only one visit. Remember the phone 800 service have nothing to do with the physical offices, and yes the phone service have become the worst in the history of children and family they are inaccessible and unreachable. But this office is the best, thanks!!!

this is literally insane, the government couldn’t afford a non run down building that’s not next to a family dollar? i’ve been trying to reach out for ages without a single reply. i’ve never had to deal with something like this trying to get assistance. Florida needs to do better hiring more people & maintaining a professional office. Literally feels like a fever dream.
oh and W H Y would their fax machine not be available when they’re closed for the holidays until january 3rd?! very much gives you the run around.

People often get the local office and the 800 number confused. These ladies FINALLY got me my benefits. I went in yesterday morning, 34 weeks pregnant and I’ve been trying to get benefits since January. I know I needed an appointment but the number wasn’t working and they helped me anyway in person. I explained my situation, how the main office was dragging their feet, and in LESS THAN 24 HOURS I finally have the benefits I’ve been trying to get since January. Thank you so much ladies. I have such a sigh of relief this morning knowing I don’t have to fight or argue anymore.

(One star)Been waiting on hold for hours every day for more than a week. Never get a call back when you selected that option. They want us to comply within certain dates but are unwilling to provide help.

Update: after being on hold everyday all day for a week I went into the office (still on hold) and they helped me take care of the issue in under an hour. So I have added another star simply because they were able to efficiently help me in person.

The (800) customer service is where all these bad reviews should be directed at…These ladies are above the customer service reps, they get things done the first time and quickly. It’s nice to finally get the right help with our benefits.

Worst place EVER! They constantly mess up on my children's medicaid and my food stamps. My newborn daughter couldn't even be seen by a doctor for 2½months because DCF messed up when it came to her medical. They are saying that I don't cooperate with child support so they are denying me of my food assistance when all I do is cooperate with child support on everything. Unprepared, unprofessional and do not know how to do their jobs right. Sad sad sad! Zero stars if I could.

Lady at the front desk was very snotty. Showed no compassion and wouldn't even make eye contact when I was speaking to her. But the lady in the back room was very nice and helped me with any questions I had.
