It looks like their elevator hasn’t been inspected in 4 years according to this paper I took a picture of.
The room was fine. Beds were a little creaky and sheets were poor quality. The shower had a lot of mold in it. The room didn’t have much air circulation in it. The walls are quite thin so I could hear my neighbors.

The staff is very nice. You can't find a second hotel with the same quality and staff attitude at the same price. There are so many fun things to do nearby. I am very satisfied with this trip. The room is also very clean and tidy. You can see that they are very serious about this hotel. I am very satisfied with this hotel. The mattress of this hotel is very soft and very comfortable to sleep on. The pillows are also very clean. The details are perfect.

Had a great experience. Room looked like it was remodeled. it was clean and plenty of parking. Security cameras everywhere so that made my wife and I feel safe for our kid and car over night.

I wasn’t going to review this place at all because I didn’t book the stay for work and didn’t want to negatively impact the relationship of this hotel with my contact but my singular interaction with the front desk agent at night on jan 3rd (she refused to give her name or management’s contact info) caused me to give my full, honest experience.

this place is gross. between all the markings all over the walls, the massively stained carpet, and the obvious neglect of dust and cobwebs on every appliance (lamps, mini fridge, AC, microwave), it feels incredibly unclean.

the bed is held up by 4 thin wooden planks that aren’t nailed to the frame and creak with every micro movement, and the bed itself is less comfy than sleeping on the floor. it takes firm to the next level. this also could be a SoCal thing, but it didn’t have a fitted sheet either, and i’m not accustomed to sleeping directly on the mattress if the top sheet moves freely.

minor criticism in comparison to the rest: the shower takes 5 minutes to heat up, leaving the laymen to believe that the hot water doesn’t work. the furniture’s store price labels are either on pieces still, or half ripped off.

lastly, the feeling of safety and security and the reason i had to interact with the front desk at all. i, like many others, put up the ā€˜do not disturb’ sign for the entirety of my stay as to not have my privacy invaded. i was packing my things the night before check out and cigarette smoke smell started to waft into my room (at a non smoking hotel…) - upon checking my window, it was open! i called the front desk asking if there was record of anyone coming into my room during my stay and the front desk agent said she’d make a note of it and hung up on me while i was speaking. she did not answer when i called back. when i arrived downstairs to confront her, she reiterated that she would make note of it and that regardless of the DND sign, house keeping comes in everyday to check your room. (while obvious that someone entered, nothing was ever cleaned)

i asked for management’s contact info and her name and she explicitly told me ā€˜just front desk agent’ so i’m writing my review here and never coming back!

while this could have been an outlier experience, other negative reviews mention her specifically too and i would avoid hotel huntington at all cost.

Room needs several things. No plugs for phone charging by bed. Only lamp. No tissues in bathroom. Only 1 roll of TP. No hand soap. Just bottles of shampoo and conditioner. So I just shampoo for the first washing. Luckily I had brought a small bar for a different motel!!.
Shower was ok and nothing really for the continental breakfast. Just coffee, and make your own oatmeal out of a huge container. I just grabbed coffee and left. Not work the money. I could get stuff from Temo and give it too them lol

I was in room 112 on the ground level. When I entered the room, I noticed the laminate on parts of the flooring were peeling up. Other cosmetics issues were present - like parts of the tiling on the bathroom walls weren't grouted. Small upgrades and repairs could be managed to make the space look and feel much better.

The shower pressure seemed pretty low, and there was a weird smell coming from the sink anytime the water was running. The bathroom has a motion detection light, which came on intermittently even when no one went inside the bathroom - this kept me up for a good portion of the night. I had to shut the bathroom door completely in order to keep from being disturbed with the light.
Also, the bathroom towels were so tiny and thin, I'm not even sure they're meant for adults.

The bed was alright to lay on, but the pillows were not comfortable at all. They were pretty flat and super basic/cheap.

I will say that there was wifi and a working TV at least. Also, the ac worked just fine and kept me at a comfortable temp the whole night. I only stayed for one night, thankfully. I don't think I'd be comfortable staying in that room for any longer than that.

This hotel is in a good safe place and it’s very affordable. Don’t expect a five star squeaky clean room but it’s not dirty either. No bugs or anything like that. My only complaint is that the Asian lady at the front desk is rude. She gets mad that you don’t understand her because of her accent and gives you attitude. I understand having an accent but being rude straight away because of it isint okay. Overall a good hotel.

Great place to stay if one is hiking Bridge to Nowhere. The trailhead is close. Plenty of parking, restaurants, Target, and Walmart within walking distance to the hotel.
