I had a meteorite and i wanted a second opinion and i had heard good things about the owner and that he was into rocks and meteorites especially. So i called and made sure the owner was there before i went ...The owner and his wife were both there at the shop and they were both very down to earth people and indeed the owner knew quite a bit about meteorites etc. and i had a great time getting his vote of approval and just listening to him i learned a few things that will come in handy in the near future. The stores pretty neat--it has all kinds of stuff on the shelves and then theres the crystals up frint behind glass and the collection of hotwheels on one wall...theres furniture, huge bean bags, and also things like JB Weld in one corner. A little of almost everything or so it seemed....anyways it was time well spent for me!

Our house flooded two times and we go to needful things to replace the items that we lost the owner goes out of his way to find all the items we have lost and to help us great store great people, he has new things and antique things that are very cool

I absolutely love this place. They buy a bunch of wholesale stuff from Costco, and sell it at a discounted price. Michelle and Martin are always super nice when I go there. Highly recommend people check it out. Well worth the drive from chico.

Love all the stuff there - tons of almost everything. The prices aren’t bad, but not always great, at times only a few dollars off of what they would have be at Costco. For the extra few bucks, it’s worth it to be able to have the option to return to Costco for replacement or refund - on the larger items anyway.
Fun store, either way. If you see something you want, be prepared to make a decision relatively soon, as i waited on a gun safe that wasn’t there when i went back.

I wish I could give this place 100 stars. The family that runs this business are the best people ever! I rented a trailer and Martin was extremely kind to do everything he could to make sure I received the right size trailer for my move and at a great price! When we were in Chico and our truck's fuse for the lights went out he graciously gave my Dad an entire new set. Needful Things Rules! You guys are the best. Plus they support Ukraine! I just cannot say enough good things about this business and as someone who grew up in Durham it is great to have them as part of the community and I only hope they continue to stay for many years in the future!

All was well until we made a purchase of a mattress topper. Got it home opened it there was a huge gross stain in the center of it!
Packaged it up returned it. We could only have store credit as stated on receipt. BUT I felt that shouldn’t apply as we didn’t just change our mind. There was no way we or anyone would use that and it should be thrown out. Hopefully not sold again. I haven’t been back in since then. I’ll have to make myself go in and use the credit. Under these circumstances we should have gotten our money back

Our microwave totally died & was unrepairable. The only place we have here that carries microwaves was Walmart & being disabled on a fixed income I didn't have that much money to spend. Then I thought of Needful Things. I called ahead & they said yes they have microwaves new & used. We went there & got a good size one for $20.00. it works great. I may have to go back soon & see if they have a crockpot as mine is older than Moses!
