The best!! We came to look for a rocking chair, and they had EIGHT out in the showroom to try. It's been very hard to find anywhere that has any actually in store, so the selection was fantastic. VERY glad I didn't go with my original plan to order somewhere else online - there were some that I preferred over others based on height, cushion firmness etc and wouldn't have known without seeing in person.

Especially appreciated how well they know the products - they had really great advice that helped us pick, like info on which has been sold for the past four years and had no issues, which some people find slightly too wide, fabric types offered, warranty info. I really appreciated that they actually know their products and can give very educated advice.

We were also able to skip a delivery fee and just pick it up at the store ourselves, which was great and very easy to coordinate. Totally worth the drive from San Jose to be able to try these in person.

We purchased our car seat, stroller, and travel stroller from here, and absolutely loved the experience. The consult with Gina was 1000% worth it alone! She walked us through a few different strollers, and brought up pros and cons that we hadn't even thought of. Her knowledge was so great, and we are so happy we purchased from here. Bryan and Gina also let us know that the following month, our stroller was going to be on sale, so they prepared the invoice with the sale price, which was extremely generous. We also managed to get our travel stroller on sale, as the manufacturer was phasing out that model, but other places online still had it listed with the original price. Super appreciate that Destination Baby doesn't gatekeep information like that, and is truly thinking of the best bang for your buck. We had looked at strollers at a few other places (Nordstrom, PB Kids, etc), but the associates there didn't have nearly as much knowledge, nor were they able to make many recommendations. Gina also let us know that we could reach out at anytime if we had questions about anything, and they helped us install our car seat correctly. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this place 🙂

Great inventory of everything baby from cribs and clothing, to toys and car seats, they have almost everything you need. Also, Bryan and Gina have excellent customer service skills, they’re experts in what they do and are more than happy to assist their customers! It’s so helpful to be able to see the car seats in person and talk to Gina about all the different options available! Best baby store in the Bay Area, and well worth the drive if you don’t live locally in the East Bay.

Bryan and Gina are both great. The ability to book a one on one consultation for strollers/ car seats is great. Gina gave us her undivided attention and answered all of our questions. We purchased our stroller and car seat because the service was unmatched.

My husband and I visited this store with our 3 year old son looking for Jellycat plushies for my birthday. I had chosen to visit this place because their website stated that they had quite a few varieties in stock. We looked around and didn't find very many on display. A man behind the register, who I presume to be Bryan, asked me if I needed help with anything. At which point I proceeded to ask them if they had any other Jellycats in stock other than what I was seeing on the sales floor. Bryan stated that they have more stock, just not on the floor due to theft and they (the owners) not wanting them touched. I asked if they had the croissant bag and Bryan confirmed that they had it in the back stock room. I asked to see it and Bryan went to the back to grab the croissant bag and came back with it. Before Bryan handed the item over for me to take a look, they proceeded to tell me NOT to take the strap out of the zipper compartment of the bag. I thought it was odd that I couldn't pull the strap out. If I'm shopping for a bag, I'd like to try it on and such. What's the point of having an item in stock if you can't fully look at it?! I handed it back to them and they slipped it behind the counter. At that point, I was made to feel like I was about to make a mad dash out the door with it or something. Because that's what my toddler and I go around doing to these local businesses. Smh!

I then asked if they had another one in stock, a little snake bag charm, in which they stated they did in the back. I asked to see it, only for Bryan to say that I couldn't. Bryan told me to let know them which ones I wanted and to pay for it and that they''ll bring it out for me afterwards. I told Bryan that I wanted to see the size of it, to determine if it would be a good fit for my purse. Bryan proceeds to use their hands to give me a measurement "it's about this big". At that point, we opted to not purchase anything here and left.

If you're looking for an item that this store may carry, take your business elsewhere. Since they don't want you touching the items before purchasing, might as well buy it online! Take your business to a place where you feel welcomed and not a place where it leaves a salty taste in your mouth. We opted to purchase the item from another local store, 5 Little Monkeys. Their service is top notch and they were very welcoming! Also went to Therapy Stores, which was also a much more pleasant experience! I'm all for supporting local businesses, but if you're going to be rude (this appears to be a common theme with all the negative reviews about this place) I'd rather support a big box store.

Bryan and Gina were extremely helpful with our purchase! Great communication with Bryan! He hooked us up with discounts and Gina sold us on the Nunas. This is the best place in the Bay for cute baby things!
