The ordering process for these trays were easy. Hand delivery was efficient. Mary was helpful in packing 5 into a box as I needed to ship them across the country to my colleagues for my team social.

The only loss in one star is because there were two trays with cracked cookies 🙁

UPDATE: Tried the cookies and they are moist, but neither the cookie nor the frosting is very flavorful.. disappointing ☹️ The idea of this service is wonderful, but the cookies sadly fall short. I really wanted to like these so I could buy them for every holiday and gift time, but if they don't taste great and are small, they just arent worth it 🙄 Also, the packaging is pretty bland! When I order from other places they add ribbon, etc and make each individually wrapped cookie a beautiful gift that is ready to go.. these just came with crookedly sealed, unappealing plastic sealed around them.. and again, for the price and size they should be nicer, and they could have at least stepped up the presentation. Just being as honest as I can.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: This isn't a bad review because the cookies are super duper cute! However, I wasn't really that impressed. Size is very small for the price point, and in comparison to what I can get from other bakers running their own businesses. Like I said, the designs are beautiful and very festive and we haven't tasted the cookies yet but they're probably amazing, I just feel like they're a bit overpriced for what you get.

Cookies by design Pleasanton is top notch. I ordered on a Tuesday afternoon and the cookie bouquet was delivered Wednesday morning. I was able to see what it looked like and was completely amazed… even better than the picture!
I will absolutely order from this company again as they come highly recommended in my book.

I've always known their cookies were quality. Great tasting and beautifully made. After our closest store closed I was worried because I use to always do pickup. Just recently I placed an order for delivery with the nearest store which is in Pleasanton, CA and everything was still perfect. No issues. They were on time and beautiful as ever. Very happy customer!

Mary was beyond helpful and pleasant. She came through with everything I asked for and did so with an upbeat attitude and a really sincere interest. I was ordering from Michigan to be sent to a business in Milpitas, an hour from her store. I asked for a partially custom design, an invoice sent via email, and a photo of the design. She was more than willing to do all and followed through. I also asked the next day if the order had been delivered and she checked on it for me. She answered every email promptly and also every phone call. I could not have been more pleased, given the long distance order, and the recipient was thrilled, and said the cookies, shared with his colleagues, were pronounced delicious by everyone.

Been a customer of cookies by design for over 20 years. Some of the best cookie baskets around and great customer service. Hours are limited and cookies are pricey but totally worth it.

Worst customer service!! My order, which was handled by the store in Needham Heigjts, MA, was not delivered on the day I requested. Multiple attempts to reach them for some sort of resolution resulted in even worse customer service. Just know that if the local store handling your order fails, Cookies by Design will do absolutely NOTHING to help resolve your complaint. I was not offered anything- not even a discount on a future order. Our gift to our son arrived the day after his birthday. Could not be more disappointed!!
