If I can give 0 start I will for this location! The lady who works in the fitting room is extremely rude to customers. We tried in 5 dresses and none of them worked out. So we took them out with the hangars from my fitting room and left in the cubic. She said: if you are not going to buy them you need to hand it to me! I said: ok. Then she made a big and loud complaint about all the dresses are not attached to the hangars. We were in a rush but we didn’t a mess or anything. What is her job function there then? To supervise customers to fold and hang their clothes? I would totally speak to the store manager if we were not in a rush and make her realize that she is lucky to have a job with this type of attitude! Avoid going there if you want to be treated right as a paying customer!

There has to have been exorbitant amount of shrink/profit loss recently. The fitting rooms are monitored more closely which isn’t the problem. Today, at clear the rack event the cashier ringing me out miraculously knew off the top of her head there were still 100 of the athletic pullovers I was purchasing with a red sticker. She was baffled at why there was a discount sticker on it. There was no way she could have accused me of faking the sticker since it was stuck on solid but she did attempt to peel at it in front me. She kept saying the item should be full price (which was only a $20 difference at the end). Well…not sure what she wanted me to say since a discount sticker was put on there and I’m just trying to purchase it. She even called the manager and tried to explain what was going on and have her come to the register but I don’t think her manager could really understand what she was saying. Not sure if that was an intimidation technique but I did nothing wrong and was annoyed enough at her that I was adamant about them honoring their mistake. She finally gave in. Then she made me hand back my receipt to fervently stamp ‘final sale’ twice covering the 4 items including non sale item. As I was putting it into my bag, she made me give the sweatshirt back to scan the tag into the system. Not sure why I had to spend 10 minutes enduring that type of attention in front of other people. Not one apology for wasting my time, treating me like a criminal nor a thank you…just a ‘you can go now’ as she pushed the receipt towards me. There might be a few good employees there but the few that don’t care to be working there or are downright rude really make the experience horrid. I will remember her and avoid any interaction in the future.

This was my favorite place to shop, especially their famous Clear the Rack event. Unfortunately the customer service experience i had now will think twice about entering this store. The choices were plenty but the checkout process was upsetting. The person behind the counter kept accusing me of tampering the labels.
People please know your own store rather than trying to make your customers feel bad.

Horrible customer service. Barry denied me assistance with a receipted return and sent me back to the massive main Checkout line—which does NOT say “Returns”—after I made the Order Pickup line, which was clearly separate from the main line. Never coming back here.

We went to exchange a birthday gift. I dropped off my wife and parked quickly but by the time I got inside, the exchange was almost complete. I like the new location of the checkout.

Visited NR store at Oakridge, Julie at the fitting room
Was helping me. She went out of her way to look for coat in different size that I needed, she even checked all other stores availability. She was able to find it on the floor and she was so happy to inform me. She is very pleasant and has great customer service skills. We need more people like her.

My recent visit to Nordstrom Rack left me with mixed feelings. The overall experience was pleasant, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, and the store's cleanliness. I appreciated the organized layout with clothes neatly arranged by size. However, the disappointment came with the limited variety and somewhat outdated clothing selection. It's worth noting that this particular store is on the smaller side. Compared to other Nordstrom Rack locations in the Bay Area, this one fell short in terms of offering up-to-date styles and a diverse range of options. If you prioritize a clean, well-organized space and value a friendly staff, it might still be worth a visit, but keep in mind the store's limitations in terms of fashion choices
