Not at all related to the restaurant next door. The knowledgeable lady who worked there greeted everyone with a smile. I was hesitant to ask for help, but I’m glad I did! Apparently there are two types of black cumin seeds and she helped me get the right one! It’s unfortunate that she kept having to run out and ask people not to use her parking, there were signs everywhere to not park there unless your shopping here (tip: ask if you can pay to park there). One item I needed wasn’t in stock, but she quickly made a call and got me the tamarind powder. This is my favorite spice, produce, and snack shop in this area!

I got a great tip on a juice to make snacks and micheladas …

I think she knows Spanish, because the words she said in Spanish like tamarindo we fluent. A lot of Mexican recipes use a lot of the same spices.

Worst grocery store!! Visited today to shop for some groceries, accidentally some product has been damaged by customer and the owner started yelling, asking for payment and crying about loss over one small bottle of oil. Insulting and disrespectful words for customer. Ran after the customer for $6 worth oil bottle which also looked expired. Terrible experience!!

They sale expired items. Don’t buy snacks from here. This item in picture was purchased in 3/2022 but expired on 8/4/2021. Did not look at expiry date when I bought this.

Wow. I don't like hurting small business, but after the unbelievably rude treatment I just received, and then seeing apparently this is the status quo here, I'm also writing a review.

After I parked in a spot (intending to shop at this store after getting a pickup order from a nearby restaurant), the woman who works here yelled that I have to buy something to park there. I told her I was aware of that and I would be purchasing items from her store after.

When I was being rung up after choosing an item (to honor their store policy), I was 50 cents short. When I said, "Let me leave this here so you know I'm good for it, and I'll go get the rest of the money from the car," she snapped and yelled, "You think I need your $2.00? You're only buying something so you can park your car there. I don't need your $2.00."

I replied, "Yes. I was honoring your store policy, but with your attitude I don't need to buy anything."

So in the end, I took my money back, walked out, saved myself $2.00, the business lost $2.00, and I got a parking spot.

I fully respect that people who park in their spots need to buy from the store. I do not respect being treated with disrespect and mocked when I am honoring their policy.

Not in the business of supporting rude small business.

I wish if I could do no star. I went to this store on Sunday with my wife. There was a bulky looking Indian female at the counter who was very disrespectful, bad attitude, verbally abusive, rude and mean. She repeatedly & inappropriately demanded money from us for "small amount of sample of Hina" by claiming that an American store would charge it too if we would go to such store. After I questioned why they failed to post a sign like "no sampling" or "will be charged for sampling a product", she misbehaved and cussed at me. I also believe that she have never been to an American store because she was wrong in making such a racial kind of statement. I walked out to give her a reply here.

I will not endorse this store to anyone!
