Great selection. Have no idea about alteration services. The major standout, and as I've seen a TON of other reviews confirming is that the older lady who seems to be the main proprietor (maybe the owner?) really does constantly follow you around the store. And if you try to say something about it politely, she will take offense and either verbally or through her expression and body language, indicate that YOU are the one who has done something wrong. I do want to push back a bit on a couple reviews I've read that label this woman a racist. Please read the rest of these reviews. The old lady just has an insane degree of distrust for her patrons and no gracious customer service skills. She seems to treat EVERYONE this way. I am a 40 year old Caucasian, well dressed and well kept male and she still treated me this way. Stop making everything about race you fear-mongering race-baters. I suspect she is bitter that a great many people intentionally come in to use her store to try things on and then get them cheaper on Amazon. She is pushy and sharp-edged. She doesn't seem to understand that it is the cultural NORM, and most people's expectation, that they be free to browse and try things on in peace. She hovers like some kind of lady's maid from Downton Abbey. She is just awful. But I see zero evidence, even from the details of the race-baiting reviews, that she is actually racist. I honestly believe this place would go out of business if the medical staff in/around Searcy had any other options within reasonable distance.

The store itself has a pretty good option. I’d definitely have to say that this little older lady that runs this place is very rude!!! Myself and my mother both came in to look for scrubs as we both work for a home healthcare company here in Searcy. She followed us everywhere we went. I didn’t end up finding anything but was helping Mother look. I had found a few different things I thought she would like. The things she said no to and DID NOT try on, I was putting back on the rack in the same exact spot where I’d gotten them from. And she rudely told me to take them to my Mothers dressing room. I kindly told her that she didn’t want to try them on, so I was just putting them back where I’d found them. Then again she rudely told me to take them to her dressing room. We left without buying anything and will go elsewhere.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. My mom and daughter came along with me to look around this store. We weren't looking for anything. But my mom starting pointing at things she liked. We kept looking at everything obviously to know what they had. And the whole time we were being watched like a hawk from the counter. She moved to whatever section we were in. So my mom and I started to play a game and kept purposely moving to see if she would follow us. I also went to the dress room to try on some pants and left the curtain a little open so I could see my mom and daughter. And she was watching me again!!!! My mom also made a comment that we were being watched. It's so weird and uncomfortable to have eyeballing you while you're trying to look around. I walked around 1 more time because I was trying to decide on what to get. And the lady cane up to me once again saying "you've walked around the whole store what are you looking for" which I was already annoyed with her. She wasn't very nice. And also told me if I had told her what I was looking for she could help me. Even though they didn't have it. I can see why this store doesn't get very many customers. Why it has the reviews it does. And why so many people say not to go there. I wanted to support a business in searcy but I will stick to Amazon for cheaper scrubs and BETTER service.

This alterations place charged my daughter who is a college student over $80 for simple alterations. When I called to inquire about the services she received, the lady immediately began arguing and telling me she didn’t overcharge. She didn’t give me details of what she did, would give me an invoice, nor did she tell my daughter prior to the service how much it would cost. Shameful and would not recommend.

I am a nurse and was shopping for new uniforms. I stopped in the store 3/6/2019. It was an older Caucasian lady working. As I was looking around, she ask me very rudely “what are you looking for? “. She asked me this twice. I told her I was really just wanting to look around to see what the store had available and on sale. She just walked away. I was treated so rudely, I decided to leave. It wasn’t how I was treated is what has me so upset. It is what she did when I was leaving the store. Since I was totally ignored, I decided not to purchase anything from your store. As I walked out to get in my car, the lady ran to the door looking at me as if I had stolen something. It was very degrading. You have a great selection of uniforms. I was in the market to purchase at least 5 sets of greys anatomy uniforms. I say to your company please tell the lady that worked 3/6/2019, to please treat all customers with respect regardless of their race. She certainly shouldn’t follow customers to the door and stare them down as they leave. She was very disrespectful. You would think these stereotypes and prejudice would be over by now, really it is 2019.

I went into the store today knowing what I wanted and an older lady asked me if I needed help, and I didn’t so I said no. She kept following my mom and I and was very overbearing, I felt uncomfortable. She kept bothering my mom and I 5 TIMES. The last time she had asked, I told her I didn’t need help, I just wanted to shop and look around, she sighed and said “you know that’s my job” to which I replied, if I needed help I would ask, but I know what I want. She was very rude. And a much older woman at check out was being very rude and racist to my mother and I. My mom didn’t have her glasses and the lady got mad when my mom asked her to repeat the total. Also, I had ordered a pair of pants scrubs and it had been a month, every time id call they told me they weren’t in if I didn’t get a text message. When I went in the store today, they finally went to look in the back and there they were…and I never got a message lol. this is the worst service I have ever experienced and very unorganized. I will be finding a new place to get scrubs.

I recently had some of my uniform pieces altered here. She did an excellent job! To my knowledge this is the only tailor currently working in Searcy. If you need something tailored, I highly recommend this place.
