We had eaten at Payne's and ended up parking right in front of this delightful store. We had been to the place that people travel for and was really disappointed so went for lunch instead. After lunch we went into Back Porch Pickin and just loved everything about this place. The design, the items, the opportunity to rummage through some racks of clothing (bought something for all three of my grands) and the kindness of the young man who checked us out. I asked him if it was his family's business and he said yes. I'd love to hire 10 of him for my business. Very cute shop and one we will make a point of stopping at when we are in Scottsboro.
