I gave three stars because that would just be even in Fair with my current experience. I do believe that will change, I just went in there late on Sunday, and wanted to sell an article of clothing. They weren't taking any clothing at the time, but the staff member was very kind to me, I could see in their eyes, and the expression on their face that they weren't being judgemental towards me even though I wasn't quite dressed appropriately for selling clothing I have been helping a friend move all afternoon.

They are a big joke! Don't waste your time and bring anything there they only except junk!! And the girls that work there are a piece of work!!

I will start with saying, Clothes Mentor is where I go to get most of my clothes and have for years. I do love their prices and there's always a big selection of clothing, shoes, etc.!

However, with this last experience just trying to confirm my store credit, I was met with yet another rude employee and finally am writing this review. I am not saying all of them are rude (there are some very sweet ones, especially in NLR!). However, it makes a big impression when anytime you question anything (buying/selling), the employees have an attitude. I have sold before to CM, so I understand how it works. When I dropped off some clothes yesterday, including 3 pairs of the same Citizens Jeans, and she only took 1, I questioned why. Not rudely, just making sure she saw them. Again, attitude with saying that they have too many jeans right now. Would save a customer asking if you would say that in the beginning instead of saying they are out of style, when they are the same pair of jeans.

I usually get store credit for buying and have made returns, where I also get store credit. In the past, I have had my credit not added to my account (where the employee said it would be), but luckily, I happened to still have the little barcode store credit receipt in my purse. I called today to confirm from them buying yesterday and again, more attitude from the girl when I called about seeing not the right amount (essentially it is showing if they would have given me cash) in my account. I told her how I have not been credited properly in the past and just wanted to confirm and she haughtily claimed she could see it and didn't know what I was looking at. My account, ma'am.... when we are not seeing the same thing, maybe say that you can get your manager to look at it sometime today or tomorrow. I have every right to question it, especially since don't want to lose credit like I have had in the past.

Anyway, I think this store could be amazing if the employees were taught a proper way of interacting with customers. I own my own small business and if I had anyone bring up to me a concern (which has been brought up before according to other reviews for CM), I would take it seriously and address with the whole team.

If you try to sell something like a pair of pleaser shoes, be careful. There’s a black girl up there with a sidekick and they like to steal and withhold items for themselves for FREE that they have no plans on selling within the store. They will give you the bare minimum and send you on your way. While everything in the store is at lest 12-13$ . The back of the store smells like a storage closet and a pile of gym sock, oh , and some of the clothes aren’t clean. TERRIBLE STORE, TERRIBLE ASSOCIATES, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

I carried a large bag of items on Saturday. I stayed there about an hour before my items were reviewed. They took their dear time before waiting on me. The little young girl couldn't have gone through my stuff that fast. I had lots of designer bags also. They only bought my Coach purse for $14. All my other items were declined. Such a prejudice environment as well. My items looked way better than most items in the d××n store.

Purchased my first item from this store. During the register transaction their was a glitch in their system and clerk wasn’t sure transaction went thru. I checked my credit card app on my phone and transaction was there, clerk said that didn’t guarantee anything and she took my phone number in case she needed to manually enter stuff again after she checked with her mgr. she called me about 15” later and said my transaction would need to be manually entered so I gave her my cc info over phone. 3 days later I have duplicate charges on my card, I call her and she says one of the charges will fall off in 3 days. It didn’t so I call her back and she says I need to come back to the store with proof that I was charged twice. So I drive back over with my cc statement. She looks at my cc statement which shows the 2 charges and says she will have to get back with me after she talks to her mgr. after 3 more days I’m still waiting, no phone call. I contacted my credit card and disputed the charge, 2 days later I had my refund. Absolutely terrible
Customer service from this store location, they should have been able to check their transactions and see that I had a duplicate charge and refund my money. I will never go back to this store again, very poor representation of this company. Buyer beware!

I have regularly visited Clothes Mentor for over a year! My Lady loves their clothing selection, the environment of the store, and the ability to resell clothing items that are still in trend. The staff is what really sets apart CM. I always see familiar faces Sam, Jen, and Akirra who are super friendly and knowledgeable about fashion trends that help make those final clinched decisions about what to buy and what to pass on! Keep doin yo thing CM

Horrible service. During my 45 minutes there, I did not hear the staff of 3 greet a single customer. I carried around an armload of possible selections for some time and there was not any offer to secure me a dressing room or help in any way. The staff did laugh and talk behind the counter and played with some balloons. Their clothing selection was not as nice as the old Saver's and not displayed as well. Racks crammed and sizes not easy to see. Dressing rooms were maybe 3 or 4 feet square, with no place to sit while trying on slacks.Before I left, I politely told a staff member my experience with the service. After a quick "I'm sorry" she made an excuse: they were understaffed and too busy to "greet just everyone"" who came in. Really? How many seconds might it take to look up and say "Glad you're here. Let me know if you need any help."?
