I rented a small storage unit at StorBox in Pasadena for some household goods that I want to keep safe. I found it to be a modern, clean and well-run facility. The buildings are of solid construction (mostly concrete blocks and steel), so they should be safe against fire and weather hazards. The interiors are climate-controlled. Everything is very secure. The facility is spread across several multi-story buildings with two vehicle entrance points. Each tenant gets an individual gate code that works only for the access appropriate to his/her unit. The code must be entered again for the elevator, which then allows access only to the appropriate floor. Each unit has a door-latch sensor to ensure that it is locked when the user leaves.

Access is smooth and convenient. There is parking very close to the buildings, and large, high-quality, flat-bed hand carts are provided for moving between a vehicle and storage unit. Elevators are large enough for two of these carts. Hallways are wide enough to allow efficient maneuvering.

Lien, the staff person who helped me get set up, was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave me a tour of the facility and showed me my assigned unit before asking me to sign anything or pay any money. I actually read all the fine print in the rental contract and I found it perfectly reasonable.

This place rocks! The entire is incredibly helpful in getting you in and out as quickly as possible. Scott was welcoming and dedicated to helping you find a unit that best fit your needs. Louis was awesome and helped me through the set up process. They are a fun and dedicated to making the move as convenient as possible. They have vans/trucks that are available. This made the entire moving process less stressful. There are not many places/services I go in to the first time and commit. STORBOX has the security, staff, and environment you would be comfortable coming back to!

After doing a lot of online research and checking local storage facilities, I chose STORBOX Self Storage in Pasadena. The hours for entry are very good.
I have been using them for over half a year, so I am comfortable in providing a review now that I have enough interaction and experience here.

This storage facility is very secure with lots of cameras and a gated entrance.

On numerous days a d times I observed staff walk through the storage units to ensure all of the locks are secure.

On one occasion I had upgraded my lock without informing the office and a hour latter they called me to ask if I had switched locks.

When there have been important announcements regarding holiday closures or repairs being made that impact access, they have emailed me far in advance and then followed up again closer to the event. Several times they have called me to ensure I had seen their emails.

I have interacted with the manager and office staff many times and always found them professional, helpful and informative.

This location has a variety of options available, including climate controlled units, wine storage, out door drive up units and parking for vehicles.

If you ride a motorcycle but need to store it in a garage in-between rides, they're outside units are perfect and they have ramps available.

Entrance is via a password into a physical keypad, or via a smartphone app.

Entering and exiting using your password logs your visits time of entry and exit.

When I first signed a contract here I was helped by Lynn who clearly explained their services, expectations and gave me a brief tour showing me different units to help me decide what was going to best serve my needs.

Over the months I have visited the office, Lynn has always been very friendly and helpful in answering my questions and adressing any concerns.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They showed us different options to fit our needs. The building is very neat, clean, and secure. We sleep well at night knowing our things are safe and sound!

Zero stars if I could. For the nerve they have to try to charge your customers $100 for every five minutes after closing to leav the parking lot. Apparently you can get out with no problem so it’s an automatic but they just want to charge you 100 freaking dollars for every five minutes for no reason other than to stick it to you. I can’t believe any business would have the nerve to do that. That is absolutely pathetic.

This place makes you enter in your code every single time you use the elevator. It is ridiculous and time consuming. The units are okay but the service is non existent from what I could tell. They do offer carts for you to use however the parking situation is beyond repair. They have minimal parking and if 1/4 of their renters were ever out in the same day it would be impossible to park and get in. Not to mention you are on a major street when you pull in and have to back out onto a busy road. As it happens, we pulled in to the correct address but the entrance was actually the next one down and I had to back up a U-Haul van onto the Main Street while others on the other side of the gate waited for me. Overall they get 3 stars because of the time wasted on the elevators and entry/ exit.

I needed a storage unit for excess items. I had shopped all around the San Gabriel Valley area looking for an affordable, climate-controlled storage unit. I had visited STORBOX at least 5 times as I wasn't sure what size storage unit I needed. I met with Jessica 4 of those 5 times, and Scott once. Both were very friendly and I never felt as though they were trying to sell me anything. They were more concerned about finding the right size for my needs. Their customer service is excellent. They are always willing to answer my questions. With the 3-month promotion they offered, the location and the climate-controlled environment, STORBOX was the right place. They helped me select the perfect size for all my stuff. I stopped by a few times to add items to the unit, and I like the security feature they have. I was provided a special code that allowed me to enter the parking area and the elevator. The code is needed for the elevator which only takes me to the floor of my storage unit. They also have heavy-duty carts available to use which makes life so much easier, especially when I'm by myself. So far, I am very pleased with the service, and pricing.

I just started using store box. I found it online. I gave them a call. They were very helpful on the phone. Lien was very nice. Went in the same day. They gave me a tour of the property very open with the prices and what they recommended for me. I moved my stuff in that weekend. Again they were very helpful. Helped me out. I got to use their moving van, which was very helpful. Would highly recommend them. They are all very nice and the property is very clean.
