This shop is awesome!
I had a great time exploring the many items here over many generations. One of the coolest things is the underground old bookstore. Very cool spot. Highly recommended to check this place out if you are traveling through Sonora.

Oh my gosh this is amazing place the owner is Lisa and she has great hospitality but not only that when you experience the love for antiques love frantics you get to buy or just look And you can go downstairs and have a get away just reading books and you get to hear the waterfall there were some underground caves back in the day you cannot go through them but you get to see part of them.

They serve beer, ice cream and soda pop!

Cool place to visit. One of the few places in town where you can actually go down and see the tunnels built during the gold rush. Lots of books to choose from and they also sell some refershments.

Super friendly and excellent sevice!! Perfect for a quick bite, I had a delicious turkey sandwich and of course a refreshing coke. The mint and chip shake was yummy!! Lots of antique items and books to buy. I can't wait to go back again next year or sooner!!

OH MAN. I go here every time the wife will let me .. or .. she wants to surprise me when we're in the area. I Always have the banana split. Even though I should not. It's HUGE. Made with Blue Bunny Ice Cream. There's piano and most times a guitar to play there. Also antiques in the back and down stairs .. you have to check out down stairs. Then .. the bar. Old time bar from about a million years ago. The staff is the BEST. If you're in the Angels Camp/Jamestown/Sonora area - you need to get your ice cream and sasparilla on here !!!
6-6-19 had a banana split there today! Man I love this place!

This place was very cool! I loved the basement boom section with the fountain, stone floors, and big selection of books. Incredibly good prices as well! And the bar was very cool looking.

Two floors of browsing and comfy chairs. If you western history to include the gold rush and tales of gunslingers, browsing gardening and antique goodies you will enjoy whiling away some time here.

Very interesting and unique book/antique/ice cream/beer locations. A huge variety of materials and upstairs and a massive number of books down stairs. Cool mine themed areas in the lower part of the store show the history of the area and add to the cozy atmosphere. Top it off with some tasty ice cream and a beer is you like and it is definitely a place to visit while in Sonora. Parking can be a bit challenging but plenty of public spots off the main road and short walk to this spot. Very recommended if you are in the area.
