Absolutely racist! My experience at this store was horrible. I had a disappointing experience at Syd Jerome due to unprofessional and discriminatory behavior. During my visit, I felt targeted in a way that seemed racially motivated, which made me extremely uncomfortable. As a customer, I expected respect and professionalism, but instead, I encountered behavior that reflects poorly on the company’s values.

It’s disheartening to see such attitudes in a business that claims to serve a diverse clientele. I hope Syd Jerome takes this feedback seriously and works on fostering a more inclusive and respectful environment for all customers. Discrimination has no place in any establishment.

Went by on my first visit to Chicago in years. The space was empty, only a few window display shelves left. Heartbreaking, as it was the best establishment of its kind anywhere.

I called at the very last minute for a "black party" outfit for the owner of my company. Billy, the salesperson, and Juan, the tailor, actually came across the street to our office and brought everything he might need in all different tall/long sizes, which he cannot usually find off the rack and on short notice. Lo and behold, a full outfit was found, and Syd Jerome is even tailoring all three items within THREE HOURS. Syd Jerome truly has examplary customer service that is hard to find at all anymore. My boss will make his event on time and in style thanks to this fantastic team. Thank you so much!

Is 25 years too long ago?
The early-mid 90's, The Chicago Bulls and Chicago were jumping and I couldn't find a good clothing store for my 6 ft, 145-150lbs build.
No variety or choices....Until I met Syd!!!
I was in his store for about 10-15 minutes and Syd had pulled out 3 suits that were perfect! All different but stylish and classic at the same time.
I had to take all 3.
When I entered the store I made my case and told Syd I was having trouble finding variety in my size. 15-20 minutes later Syd had 3 great suits laid out and said "Case closed". I remember it like it was today.
Sounds like it's still the same.

Fantastic customer service!! The Canada Goose flagship store was closed today since the first and Syd Jerome was the only place that had the coat I was looking for in the exact color and sz. They held it for me and even gave me directions on how to get to the store. GARY is the man to see. They are genuinely nice people and personal with the items you’re interested in purchasing, making sure the fit is just right. 5 stars all the way! Thanks guys.
