Some of the best ice cream can be found here! I was a bit reluctant at first but after trying a sample of the strawberry ice cream, I was hooked. Got a waffle cone of it and hands down, their waffle cones are the best. It’s the sweet spot of not too soft and not too hard. Best part is the wonderful lady who helped us was extremely friendly. Along with all of this, there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Highly recommend a visit here if you love ice cream!!

Banking on LA’s love of retro-kitsch Nick Fisher opened Fluffy McCloud’s in July 2023, late hours to match his bar El Prado across the street spawning a Social Media following seemingly focused more on details like the jukebox and Gumball machine than the Ice Cream itself.

Focused on Organic ingredients, steep pricing at least justified in that sense along with the Echo Park address, it is adjacent a clanking marble run that guests order from hipster servers nonchalantly offering tastes of everything from Coffee to Vegan Honeydew.

Skipping the extra $4 for #gramworthy Concha Sandwiches, quite the upcharge for $0.69 Pan Dulce, two small scoops on a Waffle Cone will set guests back $8 plus tax and tip for convincing Pistachio with or without “yoyoyoyo” and Princess Cake that tastes like Marzipan lacking the Jam.

Fluffy McCloud's in Echo Park is a hidden gem of an ice cream shop run by some highly creative people. It was a delight to visit their shop to try their fresh, all-natural, handmade ice cream. I am glad I saw them on social media because their unassuming storefront is hard to spot if you don't know what you're looking for. In an era dominated by made-for-social-media 'branding', having a plain but elegant storefront is clever.

The interior of the shop is reminiscent of a classic ice cream parlor but made for the current era. It is charming, quirky, and has a variety of fun details like the classic jukebox decked out with cow horns or the lotto ticket dispenser in the center of their main counter space.

The two clerks running the shop were kind, friendly, and helpful. Another detail I appreciated was that their sample spoons are metal. I had to sample their fresh-milk vanilla because I had never seen something like that before but I settled on churro and horchata for my cone.

The ice cream is fresh, creamy and delicious. From what I gather, they rotate flavors and present them in a glass case like a gelato shop. They have vegan flavors and sorbets. While I was there, I saw a table share a banana split and it was one of the most gorgeous ice cream treats I had ever seen. I wasn't brave enough to try one. I was by myself and would not have wanted to let any of it go to waste.

Echo Park has tough to find street parking but also this area has large parking lots just off Sunset so parking is never really an issue here. If you are here for any of the amazing restaurants in the area, finish your meal with a delicious ice cream treat from Fluffy's. It is a great spot.

Getting warmer outside, need to chill out! I’m in the mood for ice cream! Thought I’d swing by to try Fluffy McCloud’s organic and vegan flavors! Small selection, but I’m not picky as I picked a sundae with four savory flavors, server was kind to allow me to try spoon samples of my choice. My favorites scoops are rich dreamy chocolate, classic pistachio, vegan horchata, n the mint-chip that leaves a delectable herbal aftertaste topped with whipped cream, drizzle chocolate, two thick pretzel sticks with a savory cherry on top! I can’t wait to drop by next time to get their large waffle cones n a flavor I haven’t tried yet!

FANTASTIC SHOP! Delicious flavors made with fresh and genuine ingredients, unique flavors as well for the more adventurous, quirky space and decor, reasonably prices for the generous portion, and a lovely experience overall. I cannot recommend more!

We love Fluffy’s! Yummy organic ice cream in Echo Park. Great flavors, fun vibe, great service. Our favorite flavors are mint chip, vanilla and pistachi-yoyoyo. Very creative place. There’s something different and seasonal every time we come. Old school juke box, lactaid in a candy dispenser, fun healthy drinks. Vegan flavors too. Pick up a scratcher and some vitamins while you’re there too.

such a gorgeous interior and delicious ice cream…my only complaint is that every time I’ve been here the servers have been exceptionally rude. I work in the service industry too, and I understand not being sunshine and rainbows 24/7, but would it kill you to smile and not act like you’re incredibly irritated with your customers? It’s like they’re mad at you for giving them business? It’s really turned me off from coming here which is sad because it’s great in every other aspect.
