This is the second time in a couple of months they have had to come out here and dig up my yard because of a leak. Each time they leave this cement block. The first time, I left the block there for about a month but as soon as I moved it water started gushing. I’m not sure why they leaves this here but I will be afraid to move it again. My yard is a muddy damn mess everytime they leave. I’ve had problems with the water pipes since I moved to Lincoln 5 years ago!!! I can’t put new grass it around here because they will just have to dig it up…again instead of just putting in new pipes!

Office person very rude, no people skills what so ever. I was told that one of the people I needed to talk to was at lunch @ 3:15pm , I stated it’s 3:15pm , she said well when would you like for her to go to lunch. Then after all that she hung up on me.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Me and my husband during the bad part of summer when it was so hot you can't breathe was refused water service because his mom moved off leaving a huge water bill that we didn't know about until we called to report the water being off. Now mind you there was a major leak that was called about multiple times but my husband had to fix it himself so somehow with the leak the bill was over $1000.00 I would've never let it get behind like that or I would've tried to get it caught up if the woman who's name it was in would've told us but she didn't. Anyway we ended up being stranded without a vehicle for a couple months and I got a ride up there to see if I could do a payment plan and then turn the water on for us but they refused, they wanted the whole thing up front. If they would have let me make payments and still have water I was going to pay every week and it would've been a win for those people either way. They would've at least got some if not all their money the other lady left owing and if I hadn't been able to pay for some reason then they could've shut it back off and still got some of the money back on the bill. But no and we lost a fur baby because it was so hot and we was having to constsntky go n buy ice and bottle waters. Nobody cares that we lost our fur baby and we could've just as easily lost our life in the heat like that to. I'm glad to be moving from that place.

Lincoln water department obviously has no sympathy for those suffering during the COVID-19 situation.
My water got cut off just yesterday Due do not making a payment for two months As it Should I have no complaints with paying the bill for the water I’ve used.my issue is people are having trouble paying their bill during a crisis I think it would be pretty evident it would be very difficult to pay an additional $75 reconnection fee tacked on to whatever large bill someone may have and they have no issue giving out that extra charge. during normal situations and I get to work every day sure it’s my fault. But when I’m struggling as is I don’t need an additional almost hundred dollar bill added to my already $300 backed up water bill. And also to the way they talk to you on the phone you would think I haven’t paid child support in a year To the person I’m talking to directly. But that’s the norm in our society today. So fair warning
Pandemic or no pandemic you don’t pay you get shut down with an additional reconnection fee. Thanks city water always looking out for the customer. I’ve got more to say but not enough time so I’ll leave it at this if someone’s a first time being disconnected from the water grid I think y’all should have a one time reconnection wave instead of hitting them with that hard fine.

This is a water company that cannot turn your water on! After paying over $150 dollars in set up cost to this company; we still do not have water. Instead they have their paying customers doing their job for them. Customer service at its finest! If there was a way to give someone negative stars I would have done so!

Water leak on their end, its a big leak. Told lincoln over a week ago yet they do not care enough about the water supply to come fix it. I guess with all the rain we are getting they don't feel this big leak is a priority. What a wasteful city
