At the high end of commission - only 40% goes back to the seller, which with this kind of items can be a lot. Also a $2 per item extra charge? not sure what that is all about.
That said, beautiful shop, quality items but in future I'll just go back to selling online.

Renaissance has moved to this new location in El Dorado Hills and it is absolutely stunning! Each piece is a unique find and the staff was very doting when I was looking for a dress for an upcoming wedding. I couldn’t be happier with the collections and experience of this high end store! Buyers, beware of what you’re told on the condition of the items and always thoroughly (!) inspect!
I bought this purse yesterday and was told it was never worn, while I didn’t check inside, packed with wrapping paper, that was my bad of course, since I completely trusted of what I was told. The bottom of the purse has multiple yellow stains and signs of wear.
They should have inspected the item as well as show it to the buyer and highlight all the flaws.
Since the sales are final there is no way for me to return it. They never apologized or suggested to solve the situation.
Extremely negative experience, do NOT recommend!

I love Renaissance in El Dorado Hills. It is convenient from Placerville or Folsom. They have sold many items for me at a great price and I've made many purchases of beautiful things I wouldn't ordinarily see in this area. Michelle and Elliott are fabulous. They are both well experienced in this venue and very helpful in guidance as to sizing and care of your purchase. I shop here almost weekly as I don't want to miss anything. The store is beautifully styled.

Finally checked out Renaissance’s new location in El Dorado Hills and I absolutely love the space and incredible selection. So many beautiful pieces to pick from and at surprisingly affordable prices for the quality and names they carry. I ended up scoring a Balenciaga backpack at a great price. Customer service was excellent; will absolutely be returning.

I stopped by the shop a few weeks ago. I was told by the women behind the counter, that I could stop in at any time with articles of clothing. When I went back in a few days ago, I was presented with a gentleman who first, asked me if I had an appointment. I told him that I was told by their staff, in fact, the person that was behind the counter, that day, that I could stop by any time. I had brought in a really lovely high end, designer, suede jacket. The gentleman looked at it for a few minutes, and said it isn’t up to their standards. Even though it is immaculate. As it is leather, there are always inconsistencies in the fabric. I heard from other shoppers in El Dorado town center that they have had the same experience. Seller beware…

Shopping at renaissance is a destination for me every time I’m in California. I’ve been to all locations but I must say the newest store in EDH is immaculate. It feels luxurious, has an amazing and well curated selection of designer for me to make questionable financial decisions on and above all else the staff are complete gems and very knowledgeable. Can’t recommend enough.
