David, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and kind—always ready to help you find the right clubs, balls, and accessories. Whether you’re looking for a custom fitting, expert advice, or just a great selection, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

I went in and received an excellent fitting from David. Not only did I find the perfect clubs, he helped my swing along the way. I love that he’s local as well, even though he had every thing in stock and was extremely knowledgeable. I’ll be coming back often.

Just went to get fitted for golf clubs and worked with Dave. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was not pushing any product but helped me find exactly what I needed in looking for new clubs. If you need new clubs or anything golf related do not hesitate to check out the Venice Golf Center. I even had a club that needed a repair and he did it right there for me.

Just to add some additional information: David was supposed to issue a refund on golf lessons over a week ago. Still nothing, he also stated that he would email me a receipt. Since this conversation he’s gone silent and does not return voicemails

If efficiency and organization is anything you care about this is not the place for you. I ordered a driver and was told 5-7days for it to arrive. In reality it ended up being closer to 4 weeks. I had to request a refund prior to my club magically appearing from a box in the back. During my fitting the employee spent the majority of his time answering the phone and dealing with other customers. I should have known better to purchase the club from this store. At the time of my fitting a man was in the store demanding a refund for his set of irons that had taken over 8 weeks. Once again those clubs magically appeared.

I also I had purchased golf lessons from David. The first lesson was fine and to his credit he is knowledgeable. However the second lesson I showed up early. He acknowledged my appointment and what time it was at. When I came back he informed me that he double booked the appointment and had to cancel my lesson in lieu the gentleman who he was on a first name bases with and showed up after me. He is clearly too busy to value new customers. Sticky notes organization system for the win.

David is the owner and PGA Pro Instructor. I’ve only had two lessons with him so far and have learned so much. He has completely fixed my slice and has developed my swing so fast. Not only is he great at teaching, but his store deals maybe the best in Florida. He just fitted me for a driver and helped me save so much money. Dave is the consummate professional - really knowledgeable and technically skilled with the tools to measure every aspect of the club head, the shaft and the grip. Had an iron fitting with David. Couldn’t be happier. David is patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about the game. He is also very personable which makes fittings enjoyable and stress free.

I would not recommend this place for club adjustment! I went into him to get my clubs adjusted and although it was an accident, he slapped the hosel part of my golf club. After snapping it, he said, I should have paid attention a little more and then immediately criticized that my set is a cheap set. (Callaway Mavrick) Yes, I know its not the top of the line, but why criticize someone's set of clubs?

After he broke it, he said he would order me another 5i to replace it, which I appreciated! After a few weeks of not hearing from him, I called and he said he would check on it and give me a call back. He never called! I called back a few weeks later to get the status, he said it was ordered. After a few more weeks, I called back he said they sent him the wrong club. Every time I called him, he had an excuse. His final excuse was, its an older set and its not easy to find. After getting off the phone with him, I Googled it and 50 options to buy this club popped up immediately.

When I called the last time and told him its been 3 or 4 months, what is taking so long. He Rudely told me it hasn't been 4 months, although I did say, 3 to 4 months. He customer service skills are lacking!

After 3 months of patiently waiting, he finally got the club in. My wife was in the area and was nice enough to pick the club up for me. When she brought it home, the club head he replace it with has very well used and has deep gouges in it where the previous owner clearly used it in rocks or some hard surface. The club head that he broke, was basically like new condition as I rarely used my 5i.

This is completely unacceptable and I will never go back to him for anything, nor would I recommend him.

I gave him 1 star, because he was at least nice enough to replace the club.
