A great Publix, yes, it’s a bit of an older Publix, but that’s okay! They always have what I need whenever I visit this location, and it’s always clean. They have a liquor store next door if you’re interested in going to it; it’s on the left side! Otherwise, great location!

I have to say that this Publix is incredible! I have a wonderful experience everything I shop, which is very often. The store manager is very congenial to his employees and customers. Also, the store is very well stocked, clean, and appealing. All of the associates are very kind and helpful. This store manager deserves great accolades for his job that is very well done! Publix is still the best. Best Organic produce best Grass-fed beef and chicken, with options for Bison as well . Always stepping up there game. No need to fix what is broken, nobody else comes close really.

I just left Publix # 0734. I have been shopping here for 14 years, and never had a negative experience until a little while ago. I had just left the pharmacy and, I admit that I was a little distracted. I wasn’t paying attention, and inadvertently got in the express lane..which I’m very careful never to do if I have more than the allotted 10 items. I had maybe 14 items and all of a sudden the cashier screamed at me told me I had too many items. Okay..she was correct, I did..she shouted loudly enough that the whole front of the store heard. I am that person who stands back and lets others go in front of me.. worked in customer service all my working years, and I can tell you my employers would never have found that acceptable. I was mortified, and will probably only go back to the store for my prescriptions. And a further fyi.. also never complain unless something really obnoxious happens. I didn’t get her name as I wasn’t close enough

I truly love this store. The managers all know who I am and know all ofy experience there. While im in the store , I always promote their sales and especially their products . The largest and nicest food store in Venice , Fl. Has more selections than other Publix stores around. For example I found my favorite Dove Dark Chocolate bar and also the Sweet Slice off the bone ham we love.

I've been going to this Publix for over 8 years and never felt the need to post a review, I showed up around 20:40, grabbed my very few(maybe 4-5 items) as fast as I could, and the self checkout doesn't accept cash so I had to go to the one and only checkout that accepted cash, the woman in front of me had a bunch of coupons and kept checking everything that was scanned, not my fault, and as I finally got to check out, MY groceries were put into the other woman's shopping cart, I had to point that out, and then as I was leaving I got a VERY rude comment from a freckled, curly haired girl, wish she would have had a name tag on so I could actually report her name, I'm sorry the woman in front of me wanted to make sure she got her discounts, but that's not my problem. It took forever for me to get out of that ONE line for cash, I get it's last minute but I shouldn't get snarky and rude comments when the store is open until 21:00. Who it was that said "you can always come earlier prick" should be fired. That's unacceptable. It's not my fault that the woman was price checking literally EVERYTHING last minute and holding me up. I had maybe 5 quick things and y'all don't accept cash now at self checkout. Won't be going to this Publix anymore, go to nokomis or the one on the island. They're much better
