Every time we go to this wonderful farm stand that's located right outside of the "Historic" area of Venice, FL., the produce is first rate, and I am completely addicted to the fresh strawberries they get in from local growers. $5.39 for the quart, not pint, of the greatest tasting, ripest, juiciest strawberries you'll find anywhere. Stacey, the nicest and most jovial front end person / manager / owner told me the growing season is pre Thanksgiving to May. How can you beat that? Uh, these beat anything you get in a hard plastic transparent container you can find at any supermarket so much that these actually taste like strawberries. Love this place!!

High prices and very rude staff.
I was scolded for removing a moldy strawberry from my container and replacing it with a good one. Clerk told me to ‘never do that again’ very loudly in front of other customers.
Go to Detweilers for better prices and friendly polite staff.

I really want to support this market, but they keep me guessing with their seasonal opening. Usually they open in October, but not this year. So I thought that they were close for good. But in Feb I found out that they opened in Jan.
