We visit Downtown Venice at least once a month and decided to try this coffee shop . I saw someone's negative " atmosphere " comment . Figures a longtime Venice resident wouldn't be happy . I don't care as long as it's clean . Bathroom and sitting area all has the boxes checked . The chairs were super comfy .

It did cost more than Starbucks for two Iced Caramel Macchiato's (a 16 oz Grande with extra Caramel drizzle is 5.65 before tax , Seven is $7 with very little
drizzle) I realize I'm supporting a local business and their overhead and it's Venice Island, I couldn't afford to make it a normal occurrence . The service was good, Coffee very good and girl very pleasant . Would recommend.

I’ve been a local in Venice for 18 years, and I recently decided to check out this coffee shop after spotting it while walking around Venice Island. I was drawn in by the logo and the storefront, which were appealing. However, upon entering, I was disappointed with the lobby. The furniture felt outdated and didn’t match the shop’s theme or the menu displayed behind the bar.

The menu offered a wide variety of options, and I was specifically looking for a flavored iced latte. After asking about their flavors, the staff directed me to a flavor board with plenty of choices. I ordered a Swiss chocolate iced latte with oat milk and, feeling a bit tired, I requested an extra shot. The staff member upsold me to get another additional shot, which I thought was reasonable at the time.

When the total came to $15.97, I was stunned by the price breakdown:

• Iced Latte: $9.00
• Two extra shots: $2.50 each (totaling $5.00)
• Oat milk: $1.00
• 18% tip: $3.00

Final total: $18.97

Given that this was on Venice Island, I expected an exceptional latte for that price. While the drink was good, I’ve had comparable quality coffee at Mon Ami Café, Moulin Blanc Café, or Black Gold Coffee Roasters for much less. I understand that newer businesses in the area may charge higher prices due to rent and overhead, but I believe this shop’s prices are too steep.

After receiving my drink, the staff member was friendly, asking if I needed more milk or ice, which I declined. Before I left, he offered me a pastry, making it sound like a free sample. When he then said it was for sale, I lost interest. This felt like a sales tactic, and I left feeling disappointed.

Despite the amazing customer service, the upselling approach left a sour taste in my mouth. Until they lower their prices and adopt a less aggressive sales strategy, I won’t be returning. If you have plenty of money to spend, this place might be worth a try, but for the average customer like me, it’s not a viable option.

A hidden gem with amazing coffee and warm vibes! Their lattes are some of the best I’ve ever had—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The empanadas are a must-try, fresh and full of flavor. What makes this place even more special is its deep connection to Guatemala, which shines through in the quality of their coffee and the welcoming atmosphere - think small Latin American coffee shop - makes me miss my time in Costa Rica. The service is outstanding, and Allegra was especially helpful—so kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Always a treat to visit here!

Cozy meeting place. Wonderful owners. The Matcha Green Tea Java Mint cheesecake is perfectly flavored with a creamy texture and rich dark chocolate yumminess. To due for! Husband has a pear tartlet that he enjoyed very much. If we lived in town it would be a frequent stopping place!

Wonderful cafe featuring Guatemala, Colombian and other coffee drinks and delicious pastries in a very comfortable cafe. Lisa is the very pleasant proprietor. Her cheesecakes are baked by her husband a few doors away at the Bar Harbor Cheesecake company.

I highly recommend this wonderful cafe.

Truly excited to finally have a coffee shop like this in downtown Venice. The vibe is top notch, location can't be beat, and the owners are just lovely! I had the vanilla protein shake and it was SO good. Let's keep this place open- make sure to visit!
