I really like shooting here when I'm in Delray. The place has a decent selection for a smaller store that I'm use to in Chicago. But I like the most is the energy I've received for the employee's there. I always get greeted somewhere in the store. Checkouts have been very pleasant. They have happy employee's

It's a great little store that usually has everything I need or want. Sometimes, though, because it's a small store and they don't carry all brands or all varieties. When that happens, I have to make a special trip to another store slightly further away. I was going to give them 4 stars because of this but couldn't because of the nice, friendly and willing to help people who work there. Management is very friendly and helpful. I see them all the time out and about in the store getting customers, straightening shelves and actually doing work most stores would make their employees do. If I could, I'd give the bakery 10 stars. One night, I inquired about some cookies that were on sale but they didn't have any on the shelf available and since they didn't have any ready in the back, she went out of her way to bake me a fresh batch. Even had to turn the oven back on because it had been turned off for the night. Now that's customer service and just a small sample of the friendly people that work there.

Seriously one of the worst delis I have ever been to. I visited twice while I. The area because it’s “quick” and cheap and usually a good sub.
The first visit I had ordered an Italian with extra meat (mortadella, prosciutto and pepperoni). The person making the sandwich looked at me in sheer confusion. After a flustered 10 or so minutes she’d finally sliced a quarter pound of meat for the sandwich.
The second visit I ordered another Italian with extra meat again. This time with mortadella, pepperoni and pancetta. The person had no idea (because they were new) and passed me along to the person that had made my sandwich the previous visit. Another quarter pound of meat and another ten plus minute wait for it.
I’m not sure how someone can confuse pancetta with sopressata but I let it slide. Another few minutes passed as they tried to figure out how to use the scale. During the entire time the disdain that this person carried for a simple order was evident.
As I sat to finally eat my 20 minute sandwich I realized she forgot the cheese.
I’ve worked at a couple fast paced delicatessen’s in NY and in the food industry for years. As a chef you need to learn the menu front and back and how to operate the equipment. If you confuse one food for another that could lead to many problems.

Worst publix EVER! I couldn't get flowers on valentines day because their automatic app pay system went down, along with a bunch of their cash registers. [There were people all around me trying to get tech help because they were getting charged for everything twice, so the customer service line was quite long as well and you know the person behind the register didnt want to be there at all] I needed the app on the phone though because it offerered me the free flowers (last minute valentines day flowers are quite expensive... but I thought publix had me covered). Anyways they were for my mom. She doesn't get flowers now. I have to ride my bicycle everywhere so finding and even getting flowers home now.... is one hell of a mess down the street.

The atmosphere is always friendly. The managers are great Randall, Angelina, Cashiers Champ, Kareem, deli staff Monica, and baggers Marvin, just to name a few, are also awesome. The store is always clean, and organized shelves are always being restocked and fixed up.

He immediately helped me. So nice .I don't know his name he had a small gold chain on...such so nice.

We were in town over the Thanksgiving weekend and needed a few last minute things for our family dinner. This Publix was close to our Airbnb and located in a strip mall along with other retail places like Ulta, Marshall’s and Ross. It’s a little tricky getting in and out of the area because of the congestion and narrow roads leading in.

It was a busy place with last minute shoppers. To the store’s credit, they were fully staffed and every register was open. The checkout was quick and we were assisted in bagging our order.

True to form, the store is clean and their prices very high. $8 for a jar of Hellman’s Mayonnaise even with a BOGO.
