Dawes Hardware Store is family owned and serves the West Mobile area with quality products & great service. We buy our A/C filters, and fertilizer specifically formulated for Centipede, and plumbing parts, and bagged cement, and much more. They have referred us to the best local service technicians who gave us excellent service. Very satisfied with friendly service!

Nice selection of stuff; however, I wish I could get the "Can I help you" service as others get. Happened two days in a row. Today he caught himself after offering to help another gentlemen that walked in immediately behind me. Lol. I did get a Have a blessed day yesterday though.

They were very friendly and family oriented. It is a small town store with great country values.
My friend that’s been in the fencing business for 50 years. Introduced me to the business and I’m glad that he did. The prices are reasonable and they will do what it takes to earn your business and you will get treated like family. Support this locally own family in business , and patronized them whenever you can. These are the type of businesses that keep our economy going. I will definitely be seeing them again.

This is a quaint, family owned business located near to where we travel regularly. It sits above the road so is easy to see. It is on a roundabout so is accessible from several directions. The parking lot was almost full, but we found a place right up front (which would come in handy later. We went in for a rake handle which we found with little trouble. As we were checking out we noticed a stack of 8 chairs outside the door and asked off-handedly how much they cost. He gave us a price for 4 chairs and said if we wanted all eight he would take 20% more off. We took all eight since we needed them for the Hispanic Bible study in our home. Great business. Will shop there more often. Also needed a used lawnmower part. They had just what I needed a good price. This is great place for hardware and good people to work with.
