Went in to find a white suit/tux for my son’s homecoming. Was persuaded to get a black suit instead by the owner. He didn’t have his size in stock in either the white or black. Only had a green color in stock. The owner advertise that he can get it ordered and will be about a 4 business day turn around time. While waiting, I found a different suit that was more fitting for my child and requested to cancel my order with Violas. He claimed it was “custom ordered” which is a lie. Just because he had to request more inventory because his shop lacks a variety of sizes does not make a simple black suit/tux custom. If it had been altered, I would’ve understood. I’ve dealt with other Men’s suits stores and as long as it’s not altered, a refund is always granted. Because it can STILL be sold! He needs to keep more inventory in stock. I also ordered a bow tie and shoes which he had the shoes in stock, but didn’t allow me to take them with me. Which was weird. Lastly, there is no display of a “no refunds” sign throughout the store nor on the website. I looked around first to make sure there was no such policy. There definitely isn't any communication, verbally about a no refund policy prior to placing any order either. But like I advised him, I will dispute it with my bank since I did not receive the goods or services.

*** UPDATE*** 10/23/24 Still have not received a phone call for the items that you said you would call once they arrived. It has been almost 2 weeks since the date the items were needed for, and not once have you reached out to let me know the items have arrived. You advised it takes about 4 business days for the items to arrived. Is there a reason you have not called

Met the owner (Nehemiah) at End of the Line Cafe at dinner and his style inspired me to stop in at his store for a new hat. Terrific selection and this man knows his stuff when it comes to men's apparel. I settled on that beautiful brown Bentley but I'll definitely come in for another different one in the Spring - next time a Bruno Capelo for certain. Thanks for helping me find the right headware for the fall !

Quick and easy process. I met the owner, Nehemiah, at my job and he told me to check out the shops website and he carried more than what was offered online. I was able to find 2 suits that I needed for a formal event and went to the shop to to get fitted. While at the shop, I remembered that I also needed a new pair of boots. Not only was there a great selection, but I was able to order a pair that suited my taste, no pun intended, and have them delivered that same week. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back.

The other day I did a search for a local men’s shoe store. Viola’s Men’s Apparel was on the list. I immediately knew that I had found the perfect shop for me when I saw the photos of some of their shoes ! I went there that same day and met the owner Mr. Nehemiah Johnson, Jr. When I left, I was the proud owner of a jacket and a pair of shoes. Mr. Johnson goes above and beyond for his customers.
