Great experience with this establishment! The employees were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. They helped my mom get in and out of kayak (she's 72, bad knees) and kayaks were nice. Check in/out was easy! Nice small store with Tshirts etc. Very affordable 👌 The river was crystal clear and we seen a few manatees (always a perk of Weeki Wachee) We will definitely rent from KayaKing again!

Great experience. Able to book online the day before. Started getting helped as soon as I drove up. I hadn't even parked yet and someone came out to help me. I went with my 2 kids, and they took care of us and got us in the water right away. They explained which way to go, how to get back, and give you an idea of a good time to turn around. Life jackets included. Kayaks in good condition, and plenty of them. We did a single and a double kayak. The double was very comfortable, we each had our own leg room. They have their own parking and you launch from their shop. They also have bathrooms, snacks, and souvenirs. It's also close to the Upper Deck restaurant. If you're there, you have to stop at Upper Deck. It was our first time kayaking, but we will be back. We saw that they allow dogs, so next time we're bringing our water loving dog.
By the way, if you use KayaKing, you can kayak the Weeki Wachi without having to drive into the state park. The park itself fills up early and advanced registration or booking is required to kayak from there. But if you launch from KayaKing, you can access the waterway without the hassle. First you'll row upstream, then when you turn around, you're going downstream the whole way.
Highly recommend and will be using them again.

CanNOT recommend this place enough! Not only do they have the things you forgot to bring right there in the store. They have so many fun, unique souvenirs! After doing my research I rented a kayak then paddle board.
They are local family owned, priced right and great with beginners and us travelers also. I was given clear directions on places to go on the river. How to get there. What to expect. How to paddle efficiently and effectively. My trip was SO good I went back for day 2!!
I am sure your experience here will be just as stellar!

The attendant was nice, but the bathrooms were horrendous. I’m pretty sure they have never ever, ever been cleaned and it looked like the trash had never been taken out, it was overflowing. There was urine and feces everywhere plus bugs crawling all over the floor. There was no organization to the backyard or the shop and there was just junk everywhere. I was in shock that this was a business establishment. The kayaks also could use a little attention. The seats weren’t tightened. I think it’s sad that people take advantage of people that are visiting.

11/10 would recommend! My experience with this whole business has been nothing but great! They were incredibly patient, kind, supportive and very friendly ! I let them know ahead of time that I have a very big fear of being in merky water and I wanted to know how long it would take to get out of the merky water and into the springs. They are VERY close to the springs, basically right next to Rogers Park. Which is the trail end of the Weeki Wachee Springs. You’re only going through one “canal” which is just where you’re launching off at and it’s a very small “canal”. Once you make a big turn to your left you’re already in Rogers Park which is a Park that people use as a “beach” and swim all in it, so my fear only lasted about maybe a good five minutes but the rest of the six hours we were in the Springs it was completely clear and AMAZING. Yes I understand people get annoyed that you’re going up stream but it’s honestly a really fun workout and so worth it because the Weeki Wachee Springs is crowded, you’re just going to be bumper to bumper, or you might not even get in because it is always booked far in advance. Then the ride back is literally cut in like 2/3 because you’re going down stream so you just float down and all you have to worry about is steering. The “paperwork” is literally one single piece of paper it takes like three signatures. The process was simple and we were not rushed. I even originally booked two singles and we decided there, that we wanted a double instead of two singles. The refund process was simple and I didn’t feel like a problem at all. And keep in mind this was on Labor Day weekend. Will definitely be coming here from now on. Thanks!

Great place to get a kayak or canoe for going up towards the park. I thought the guys here were cool. Straight forward, you pay and paddle. That said, I was able to make it all the way up through to the park and back, but that's not for the inexperienced or lighthearted. I saw way more people than nature, but that's how it is sometimes. Saw a manatee mom and pup, a dolphin, birds, and some fish. Nice overall, not my favorite spring, TBH.

Great place to rent a kayak from! The place is perfect for interactions with manatees! We saw so many mommas and their babies here. The only complaint I have is the guy that checked us in. He came off as rude and very short. He barely said anything besides telling us to sign the receipts and telling us to go around back to grab the kayak. I would pick another place to rent Kayaks next time.

I just enjoyed the springs this weekend and rented my kayak here. I took my doggie out and it was a great experience. The site was easy to book, once I arrived the fun began. All the guys we’re so helpful and gave great customer service. I’ll be using them again soon. 10/10 recommend!
