I was in search of workout apparel and came across numerous items that were in almost new condition. One thing I appreciate is the ability to try on the clothes, which is a perfect score for me.

The girls at this place are incredibly kind, especially Litzy. If you carefully read some of the reviews here, you'll realize they don't make sense. However, I did notice that the clothes I saw were reasonably priced and in good condition. Therefore, it is only logical to assume that if you are selling clothing, ensure that the items are suitable for people to wear.

I had a positive experience and I value excellent customer service and quality. This consignment store fulfilled my requirements and met my expectations.

Has a decent selection in store but ruined one of my gently used items with no mention after receiving items back. Very strange and a bit disappointed by that. Trying to be sustainable has become so much harder with store like this lol

I understand even more now why they have a 1/12 star as a paying customer I asked to use the bathroom I was told to go to Publix they don’t have a public restroom! How awful! I usually go to Plato’s in palm beach gardens! I will continue to do that. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE! Also not that many items in the store so don’t waste your time

I’ve spent my entire life looking like a bum. Raggedy clothes, old kicks, then I stepped into this Platos closet and it all changed. All of a sudden kids stopped pointing and screaming. My parents started returning my calls. Restaurants started seating me away from the bathroom. Thank you Platos, I can style on people on a budget now and so can whoever is reading this review

To put it short, while they were nice (hence the 2 stars), I went to sell and they rejected all my items. They said that my clothes were outdated with trends and had wear and tear. Also stains. I disagreed with the judgement (brands I had: PacSun, Levi, Zara, etc) and took my clothes to the store in north palm beach. The other location ended up taking six of my items and giving me $27. I’m aware that some of my items were probably not in selling condition and that’s okay, but even while I was there I looked at a couple items on the rack that did have stains and wear and tear just as bad if not worse than my items. Genuinely, it was a waste of my time, plus gas, to come to this location.

Also side note, again I’ll stress that the woman who did check my clothes was polite, but she was definitely older than Plato’s closet target demographic and it showed with the items she rejected and the items that were on the rack. At the other location I went to, there were younger people who in my opinion, were able to identify what’s “trending”.

The issue with stores that buy and sell like this is opinions and judgments of clothing are all objective. So keep that in mind I guess.

I recently visited Plato's Closet and had an amazing experience! The store is well-organized, making it easy to browse through their extensive collection of trendy and gently-used clothing. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or help I needed. I was impressed by the high quality of the items, name brands and the cheap prices. It's a fantastic place to find stylish outfits without breaking the bank. I highly recommend Plato's Closet to anyone looking for great deals on fashionable clothing!

Staff was not friendly. I brought my clothes there they didn’t even look at them and decided they smelt like smoke. I do not smoke. They were incredibly rude about it and when I said I don’t smoke they just continued arguing with me, pushing the container of items I brought in my face. That SAME day right before that I went to the Palm Beach location and they went through my stuff and bought 14 items they did not say any of my items smelled. Clearly the “workers” at Wellington are lazy and liars. Also almost all the clothes at Wellington had a stench to them and lots of items had stains and markings on them.
It is trash avoid it at all costs.
Update: the same woman (if I can call it that) has been rude to my friends who I send in there. Don’t go here at all

This is the 3rd Platos location I've visited and by far the nicest and the most efficient yet. The 2 females working at the counter were very helpful and very good at what they do. Highly recommend! DO NOT GO TO THE BOYNTON LOCATION THEY ARE A TOTAL DISASTER FROM TOP TO BOTTOM!
