Update: still a Super cute store with *interesting* finds. BUT Definitely overly pricey, almost everything was unique-ish but not sure the owner understood the cultures of the items being sold. The prayer rugs are being sold as 'turkish rugs' and the price was 3x what it actually is, Its insulting to the culture, also some items were similar to those on temu/shein. Not kid friendly. We enjoyed the decor, tapestries, clothes, pillow covers and trinkets from Different cultures but it felt like more of a place to stop and look at than somewhere to buy from. I brought friends here for the last time, owner came off as racist to my friends of other cultures but totally quiet around my Caucasian friends. Either way it's rude to not greet your customers and make them feel like they're not 'worthy' of shopping in the store. Too much political/opinionated talk and very much lacking professionalism and humanity.

I would give no stars if I could. The owner was in the store today. Did not say hello or was in anyway welcoming. She also insulted my friend when a shirt she was looking at fell off the hanger. She asked her “if she had been smoking?” Weird. I then asked for assistance with a dress. She reluctantly did help but was very curt about it. Didn’t buy the dress even though I thought it was beautiful just because of the way I was treated. We are a small town. Do better

Absolutely adore this shop, the owner is so sweet and the vibe is so laid back. I always find really cool things to purchase and the oil rollons are absolutely amazing I always get compliments on how great o smell when I wear them.

Stop by while in Deland, looked interesting from outside. A really unique store and the staff was really cheerful and shouts out good vibes only. They have unique items for sale and a great spot for a photo opportunity.

Like many of the reviews here say, the blonde employee/owner was incredibly rude. I had already told my daughter she could get an item and were ready to check out or I would have just walked out and put everything back. My dad died 3 days ago and honestly the interaction with her was enough to have me in tears of frustration walking out. I hope no one supports this business.

My first experience at this magical place was unforgettable! I had a wonderful conversation with the lovely and caring Mark. He took extra time with me to explain everything and I really felt it made a strong impact. I felt super comfortable and just was enjoying soaking up his wisdom and of course the beautiful ambiance & atmosphere, plus curated goodies. I will definitely be back and bringing many friends! Also, So glad to have found this gem of a shop!

Amazing, beautiful pieces you won't find anywhere else! Orchid Rain is possibly the most unique shop in downtown. Each item is hand selected by the owner and the passion for her store shows. And trust me, buy that item you've been eyeballing; before it's too late!
