This store was a great surprise and is a valuable addition to the vibrant Deland downtown area. Full, but not overwhelmingly so, of very tasteful and clearly painstakingly selected merchandise, this store simply exudes good vibes in a fun, approachable style. In particular, unique and engaging home decor and accessories are beautifully displayed throughout the store and it's easy for one to imagine having many of these attractive items at home. A great place for a standout gift or a housewarming present, I will certainly be back again. Thanks.

As many reviewers have noted, this is a beautiful and great little shop but buyer beware. The merchandise is not as high quality as it appears and they stand behind none of it. I purchased a beautiful marble pastry board/cutting board. After less than 30 days of it sitting beautifully on my countertop, I wiped it off and dried it and then it simply fell apart by splitting right down the middle. Clearly it is a manufacturing defect as it was not dropped -- just wiped with soap and water. I contacted the store for a remedy and I was told that they do not guarantee pieces such as marble and there is no way to know what may have caused the damage.

It is pretty evident from the pictures that the piece was not properly put together by the clean split right at the epoxy holding it together. I will shop at stores that stand behind their products especially when still within a normal return period and that have better quality for the price paid.

Follow up: For the record and as stated, it was less than 30 days and I credited you with stating your position, in fact quoting you exactly. It's a shame you are not believing my account of the problem basically insinuating I'm not telling the truth. You say you stand behind your products--Apparently you just don't stand behind this product. Other buyers beware: all sales are apparently final.

This store is adorable! Highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking for cute clothing or home decor. It was super easy to shop and style pieces together with the way everything was laid out. Debbie was so friendly and helpful. The clothing materials were all so soft and comfortable. Gotta love cute AND comfy. Will definitely be back in to shop again. Thank you Baker & Co !

This shop is super cute, and the owner was very friendly in the store but not so much out of the store. I bought a pair of leather pants when I got home, I noticed a snag in the pants. Being that they were pretty pricey I was hoping to send the pants back in exchange for another pair or receive a refund/credit. When I called the employee who answered the phone said that I would be able to get a gift card for the price of the pants. I told her I was willing to do this but would like to speak to the owner first (who is only in store on Mondays) to see if there were any other options, since I would not be in town again. She did not give me any information on the exchange nor was I informed of the 7 day return policy over the phone or in store. Even when I called a week later, she said that it was still fine to send them back and I could receive a gift card. She then called back saying that it was too late and now I'm expected to keep defected pants. Never was I put in contact with the owner but instead had to go back and forth from the owner to one of her employees to me.

Nice store. Friendly staff. I was gifted an item that I wanted to exchange - not return. Unfortunately, I was unable to do this. We all know that when an item is exchanged, usually the merchant makes money. Either the credit isn't used completely or the customer goes over the credit. I won't go back.
"Bash a small business"? I began my review saying the store was nice and the staff friendly. Yes, my experience was unfortunate (as are others, I see), but I did not "bash" your store. And my review was based on my experience in your store, not the fact that I received a gift I didn't care for.

Absolutely love this boutique! We just moved to DeLand & stumbled upon it while walking around downtown! I’ve now been in 3 times and have bought all the things! The lady even remembered me by the shoes I was wearing (because I told her it was obsessed with these shoes when I bought 2 other pairs the one day). Amazing customer service. Will now be my go to boutique!

This store is absolutely stunning! First I’d like to make a comment about the gal leaving a one-star review. Don’t asks businesses for discounts. It’s rude and we are coming out of a pandemic, have some respect. But my friend and I were in there today and had such a pleasant experience. I was telling the gal, who I believe was the owner, that I live in Wisconsin and I wish I could bring everything home with me. I plan to be back next time I come visit. Support local people and be kind, small business owners are more important than the big corps, just saying 😉
