Charming large gift shop located within the Monroe County Courthouse. You can get to the shop any time the courthouse is open, and you won't have to pay the entry fee.

The contents are a mixture of local artistry (I particularly liked the pottery items by Alabama Vitrified), To Kill a Mockingbird souvenirs, and more general Americana and gift items. It's a large shop with a wide range and most people will find something to tempt them.

Visited from NZ in '22. Exceeded our expectations ( we went out of our way to visit, so was def worth it!).The staff were wonderful & knowledgeable. Bought a couple of souvenirs too! Great little side experience if you are ever that way! ?
