This is coming from a contractor pov.
If there is anyone around I can give kudos to, especially when you want to work for a great company like Bealls, is expecting to work for great, humble, friendly, down to earth management. They should have honesty, integrity, and go the extra mile for customers and employees alike.

Although my tenure was short, which were mistakes I made, and by the time I improved, it was too late - that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t acknowledge those that I had the privilege to work with, and see them first hand provide exceptional customer service, coaching, and were great as a team.

Put it like this, on my 2nd week as a contractor, I came in a few minutes late because I was stopped by a random driver in the parking lot. The driver said he was desperately trying to speak with management, but he couldn’t find the location. Like me, he, too, wanted an opportunity working for a great company. I got his contact info and as I entered my work area, JACK FLYNN, 1 of 3 exceptional personalities, whom I told about the encounter and the possibility that he may still be outside (the man parked when I got his info). We hopped in the golf cart and headed over, immediately. I have never seen such compassionate customer/internal user service before in my life. This was not a one off occurrence that speaks to his personality.

When we got to the parking lot, he wasn’t there. Then, JACK said to go ahead and message him and let me know if JACK could help in any way. I was so stunned at his sense of dedication. There were other examples he has to prove.

There is a Manager named JOHN MOOREHEAD, who was probably the most professional, proficient, humorous, assertive and responsible mgr. I have ever worked for. Whether the customers he talked to on meetings and the phone, or just keeping the team focused, yet enjoyable under his command, he was definitely a manager, just like JACK FLYNN, that you would only hope to work for. I’ve had many employers over the decades. But mgmt like these two, they’re the type that make you want to stay, if don’t want to stay with a good company already that is.

On another note, There was another customer service rep that was amazing and he worked until early in the morning, on top of helping me improve - that I had the pleasure to learn from was ALEX. Day in and day out, this guy gave exceptional service to the stores. ALEX helped me to find footing within the company and how to follow the process. Alex always wanted more consistency and refinement. Even took the time to check on me when he could, to make sure I was on track. His own value speaks for itself through the feedback that he was given directly from tech and stores and customers that he has helped and assisted.

However, on a nefarious end, I had someone who constantly grandstanded my mistakes to intentionally draw mgmt to my mistakes, and speak extra high to ensure any superiors knew I made a mistake, rather than just pull me aside and show me a better way. Like clockwork, the colleague would get up, walk in the bosses office and point out every mistake I made, never any progress. I never reciprocated that sentiment, because I sincerely want others to genuinely succeed. They would say I didnt do something, when I did (but they didnt hear it), and if I did something, thinking out of the box or to check something I was curious about, because they didnt think like I did, they assumed whatever I was doing was wrong, without asking.

Regardless, BEALLS, ALEX, JACK FLYNN, JOHN MOOREHEAD are top notch employees and give great customer service.

The proof is in this post! I just got released from my position as a contractor @ Bealls, and yet I am not sour nor would I cast blame or speak ill of those I believe tried to help me, as well as being great people and a company to work for.

I felt they all deserve to be recognized. People always have time to post bad reviews, but never acknowledge the good. Despite it all, it was a great experience that I hoped would last longer.
