This is the best coin shop I have been to and one my favorite businesses in Pensacola! I have been coming here for several years and have always had great service. Everyone is very friendly, informative, and honest. I have been steadily building my coin, currency, and silver collection over the years and they always have what I’m looking for. If by the rare chance they don’t have what I need they always keep an eye out for me and eventually get it in. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you’re into numismatics or bullion this is the place to go!

This locally/family-owned business is great! I’ve been steadily visiting this shop now for about a year and have had nothing but a positive experience every time. I’ve bought a few coins from them all at very fair prices. I have also sold a decent amount of silver and gold to them. Whether it was an old ring, bracelet, coins or just “scrap”; they have always given me an educated, fair and reasonable offer. They have a very knowledgeable staff on hand to answer any questions one might have. It seems as though each member of the family has their own particular, brag-worthy (in my opinion), area of expertise and all those qualities combined, naturally lend themselves to a very informative, ethically sound, business dynamic.

Since the owner chose to respond with snark, "shrug emoji can't fix what we don't know." (Using emojis like that to respond comes off as both unprofessional and condescending), I'll update my review. I originally only wanted to put in one star and not go into detail because I didn't want to be mean with my recounting of my experience. I wasn't unhappy with not wanting to purchase anything, that's okay! I didn't know what I was really bringing in beyond looking online and being told by the individual who gifted them to me that they're worth something. I was terribly saddened by just how abrasive they were. I walked in and saw how friendly they were with another customer, chatting with them and helping, so I felt good about coming in. I told my story, that I had been in a bad car crash and was just looking to see if I could sell anything for help. They responded with "mhm" I mentioned I'd been told they were with something and just was told "well don't believe everything you read or are told" they brought out a huge container of coins and said these were all worthless. But they were "pretty" and I could "give them as tooth fairy money to your kids". I don't have kids, I can't have kids due to a medical condition. It's a weird statement to make.

All in all they spent less than five minutes with me (to the point that the people with me were surprised), didn't even imply they'd buy anything for a tiny amount, and then the guy just walked off without even saying goodbye. Maybe it was just near closing so they were in a hurry? Maybe it was a bad day. I'm not sure, but either way it was just a strangely rude interaction. You can at least show a little human empathy for people, acknowledge them in some manner, even if you're not giving them good news. The customer service is the problem here. I left the interaction wondering what precisely I'd done to make someone so rude.

The attitude is the problem, the lack of time spent, the lack of acknowledgement, and even human empathy. I didn't even get a "sorry we can't help you more". It was baffling, particularly as someone that's worked in customer service all my life.

I brought some old jewelry from my families estate sale and I was really nervous about what I would experience. I will say the staff was extremely polite and informative about different metals used in jewelry and I felt for the pieces I sold I got a pretty fair value based on research I did on precious metals. Will definitely come to them again for any future transactions.

I am not a local, but was in the Pensacola area for a few days. I like to find local coin shops to browse. A great experience. Found a few nice foreign silver coins at spot. A great price. Picked up a few vintage silver art bars also. Will visit again and bring more money next time in town. Great inventory and selection.
