I like Publix for mainly my pharmacy. They do a great job. Especially Ruby. Ben wouldn't take my son's insurance when I called the night before to check and see if the medication was ready but it wasn't. I tried to give him information that my son didn't have Express Scripts but he just made it harder on me and the poor tech that had to rerun everything the next day.

The only draw here is the Publix has the anchor store. There was an ice cream place next to it which seemed to be busy. Unfortunately the Publix has become a hangout place for the kids after school. We shop here because it's a better Publix than the one in Sun City

Being one of the newest shopping centers along Highway 301 in the Balm/Riverview area, all of the shops are new and inviting. Parking is ample the able and disabled.

On Saturday the 11th. We were checking out. The young girl had an awful attitude towards my husband. All he asked was if he could scan the soda 12 packs - as he has a bad back and can’t bend over. She ignorantly said no! Put them on the belt! With a snare look on her face. Then he was standing there waiting quietly for her to finish ringing us up. And the teenage bag boy- said to my husband- stop staring at her and intimidating her. Mind you my husband did not say or do anything until this outspoken young boy was ignoring him. My husband said “ I’m not intimidating her@ the boy said yes you are , she’s just a young girl. My husband said no I’m not. The girl walked away from ringing me up- got the manaisaid my husband was being a bully. I said no he wasn’t she was ignorant to us. The manager stood there “ dumb founded. The girl not once looked me in the eye bore said have a nice day to me, mind you I never did anything to her. The young bag not apologized for what he said to my husband. But the managers did not. Stood there embarrassing us. We came here and live in the Belmont since it 2019. Came to this store since it opened. With spoiled rotten children behaving that way as the customer did nothing. WE CHHOSE TO GO TO WINN DIXIE. They hire bratty, rude teenagers. They need to give the jobs to respectable people. I will never go to this Publix EVER- I don’t care it’s 3 minutes from my house. These two kids should never have treated us like this! Yet the management allowed it! The was all at 11 am in the morning!
