I purchased two items in Medellin Colombia and had a connecting flight in Panama City on the way to Atlanta Georgia. I asked specifically if there would be an issue in taking my items through Panama City. I was told NO there would not be a problem - but there was. Panama Security would not allow me to take my two bottles of alcohol (more than the maximum 3 .oz) on the plane with my carry on. I was forced to unpack my carry on to make room for the items so the carry on could be part of the checked luggage. In attempting to lodge a complaint upon my return the link on their website "Contact" was not active and took you back to the top of the home page. There is no way to contact them. I even found the CEO's name (Fabiano Vivacqua) but no way to e-mail customer support or leave a complaint. VERY disappointed with the mis-information I was given in Colombia and the lack of ways to communicate with the company.

This is in regards to their Canadian office in Mississauga Ontario:

Had occasion to use their online "pre-order" page for duty free liquor about a month before my trip to Europe. Order taken, receipt received and credit card was charged.

On the flight home, I'm waiting for my order to be delivered mid-flight. NOTHING! Steward knows nothing of the order.

She sends a "complaint" to the company regarding this issue.

I phone them 3 days after I get back as I've heard nothing. All I get is "I'm sorry" and a note that items "were not boarded". My credit card was credited only after I complained.

No email, no call prior to departure that my order was unfilled. So, I lose two duty free liquor purchases because they are too lazy (or inept). Take my money and wait till I complain to get it back.

Do not use DutyFreePartners if you want to get your duty free purchases. Buy them directly at the airport you are departing from.

I am taking the time to stop by because good experiences must be shared. I just made a trip to Canada and used the airline's preorder website to shop. My order was conveniently delivered and I also got 2 very nice gifts with my purchase. It was the first time I used preorder and I am glad to say I just found a new way to buy duty free.
