To begin, the representative on the phone, Miss Matthews, was very pleasant and courteous. However, the system they use is flawed.
Despite providing my pay stubs in accordance with their system or policies, they use the gross pay, not the net pay. According to my gross pay, I am ineligible for any benefits. However, they do not consider all the deductions and taxes withheld from my gross pay. Therefore, regardless of my gross pay, I do not receive the full amount. I arrive with a significant amount of deductions, and I only receive a fraction of that gross pay. They need to rectify their system and contact me again.

Thanks to this office I had great help for me and my children. They were attentive when assisting us. We know that there are many people at the same time, which is why it takes a while to address our concerns. But I left with the satisfaction that my case was going to be resolved and so it was. Very rude and unprofessional. Was greeted by a nice gentleman. I was ignored by a lady who I was simply trying to ask a question, for several minutes. Never been here and was unsure of the process. Was immediately questions and told in a rude manner what I was doing and what I needed to do. It’s your job to help people. So sad to be scared to go to a place that is meant to help people.

Had a great experience front secretary was nice didn’t understand my questions, but was nice. Lady at the teller was also very nice and got called in less than 10 min. That is a big wow for first time as other office visits I had in Chicago take almost all day. The case manager was also very nice he was very helpful. Quick and easy process.

Been waiting on a call back for 3 months. Keep calling them anyways just to again be told they'll call. Never do. Haven't been able to get tampons or anything so bleeding everywhere no clean clothes or teeth no tp can't get diapers and now can't even get food. Thought these people were here to help

This place is garbage. They never answer the phones and return calls. I don't even know why they have phones if they just don't want to answer. I've been told they are understaffed by my mom and I completely believe that. You guys messed up my whole case for example, I was approved in August but never told me and I paid out of pocket for everything. Then when I was approved again, I still had to pay until December. That makes zero sense... honestly if the people there don't want to do their jobs, PLEASE hire new people who actually answer and return phone calls and not mess up someone's case several times. Truly an annoying experience. 👎🤢

I went on a Monday and at 8:10 there was a line of abut 30 people already. They opened early and I was taken care of in a timely fashion. I had to return because I was at fault, (NOT THEM!). Again we all lined up and I did not experience attitude from the staff. Previous to this I did however have problems when it came to the phone interview appointments, but then again I believe they might be under staffed. If you feel like you have a problem with this office, maybe you can apply for a part time job with them and help out and still receive benefits, or vote in the next election and maybe they will get paid what they are worth when dealing with the public. I make minimum wage, less than 20 hours a week and love people. Some people have bad days. Let's give them a break....just a thought!
