If I could leave a negative 10, I would. I have shopped here for years while vacationing & brought my visiting family to shop today. The disrespect & verbal abuse I sustained was utterly shameful & an embarrassment to the community...all because I wanted to buy a bag to package my gift. His mouth was filthy & he would not stop! He stooped so low as to call me a c__t! He said he is family to the owner & if the owner finds this acceptable, then place just needs SHUT DOWN!

I have never been treated so poorly... I dont know how this store is still in business. These men are bullies and couldn't care less how they treat people.
My receipt was crumbled up and thrown in face. I hope that's enough said. Don't let your kids around these people.

Honestly I went here as a joke since there were a lot of reviews for the owner being mean. However, we found this place to have a really good selection, cheap prices, while being less gaudy in most of their designs compared to Alvin's up the road. It's still a souvenir beach store so it does have its fair share of gaudy apparel, but it was definitely less than Alvin's.

Left a bit confused by all the negative reviews for this place. Looking into it, it looks like it was mostly due to anti-maskers when the owner implemented a mandatory mask policy during COVID, which appears to have not gone over well with your generic "don't tread on me" rednecks. I'd be willing to bet the customers posting 1* reviews were equally awful to the owner, but that side of the story isn't being told.

Store was clean and had so much to choose from. Guys working the front were helpful, kind and patient. My daughters were buying their own stuff and they were extremely patient waiting for them to pay and get their stuff. We also went there a year ago and had an excellent experience. Will come back again anytime we’re in town.

If I could post a zero I would. We have never been treated so rudely before in my life. Just walked in store and the guy behind counter immediately made a comment to my friend that was uncalled for about her not coming back. He said get out of my store.WHAT! Bad experience. He lost out on big sales. What a jerk! We all walked out feeling like what just happened.

I purchased two tee shirts but the man behind the cash register who said he is the owner, cursed me out, called me every foul name in the book and screamed at me. Said he was calling the cops on me and appeared to call them, but no cops ever showed up. Poor man. The reviews on his website are similar to my experience. Maybe worse. He sure is not an ambassador for NSB.

I would have to say this is THE WORST customer service I have ever received...very rude and disrespectful ownership. Using the f word in every sentence, telling customers to get out, screaming and yelling. Just crazy! Never experienced anything like this ever! And still very confused how that all even started. Heard it was an owners son who runs the place and appalled by what happened. But I guess it is a regular occurrence for this place according to previous reviews. Sad because with better management it could probably be a really nice cool place in a vacation spot. For sure doesn’t deserve that one star.

Great place, great selection, and nice staff. After reading the reviews, we were up for the adventure of getting bad treatment and it turns out, the person working was physically hit several times from mandating the mandatory mask policy. It seems that the pandemic and mask mandates made people lose their minds. All is well here.
