Sunrise Eatery Review: A Delicious and Enjoyable Experience!

We had an amazing time at Sunrise Eatery, and it’s definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re looking for delicious comfort food and a welcoming atmosphere.

The highlight of our meal was the Chicken Parmesan—hands down, the best I’ve ever had! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and topped with just the right amount of sauce and melted cheese. It was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

For dessert, we had their ice cream cones, which were absolutely amazing—rich, creamy, and the perfect way to end the meal. However, we also tried the coconut cake, and while it was beautifully presented, it didn’t quite hit the mark for us. It was very creamy but lacked that strong coconut flavor we were expecting.

Overall, the experience at Sunrise Eatery was fantastic! Great service, excellent food, and a cozy, welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back—especially for that Chicken Parm! Highly recommended!

My wife and I drove over from the coast to check out the newly renovated Hercules Park.
It was getting late so we started to look for a restaurant in Zephyrhills.
The Sunrise Eatery had good reviews and the kind of food we like (Americana), so off we went.
Immediately we were met at the entrance by a gentleman who took us to a table, very polite and efficient.
The restaurant had a community feel with lots of tables in one big open well lit room.
And everyone including the waitresses were friendly and welcoming.
The restaurant decor was very interesting as well, with many interesting and unique things around the outside walls.
The food was also very good.
We started with a salad/split with berries and leaf base, very good.
I then had a sirloin steak with baked potato and steamed broccoli.
Excellent.
My wife had a Grouper sandwich, which she said was quite good.
We finished off with a monster piece of coconut cream pie, and an ice cream Sunday, great way to top off a great meal.
I dropped my napkin on the floor at one point in the meal, and was going to shake it off and continue to use it, but out of nowhere a couple of new napkins appeared on the table.
Now that’s attentiveness!
We’ll be back!

This has got to be my favorite spot to eat. Today was Nacho supreme for entree and A Reuben Sandwich with Fries and sweet tea
A chicken Sandwich with onion rings and an Arnold Palmer. Food is amazing every time! Moses enjoyed the black beans and peppers.

First time here...what a cute place! Had a LONG line when we got there on a Friday morning but they work like a well oiled machine....got tables cleaned quickly, the wait for 8 people was reasonable! The staff was sooo friendly and helpful! Now the food I thought it was absolutely delicious 😋 and tasty! I ordered breakfast and for the amount of food you get was well worth the price! They serve breakfast 24/7! Most definitely will go back to try lunch and or dinner!

First, I would like to mention and applaud the decorations and aesthetic of this restaurant. The more I looked around, the more I got lost in the details. As for the menu, it is a long one, which means you have plenty of options to choose from. The pancakes are MASSIVE. One is certainly enough as part of a normal breakfast. The omelets are alo portioned on the larger side, with their cubed potatoes having an almost melt in your mouth feel but satisfying crunch all the way around. The kids' menu burger was not only sightly delectable, it was actually good, and not cheap! I will again add that the portion was heavy, even for a kids' meal. After breakfast, we tried a special $1 ice cream. I had Vanilla, and my mom had the banana pudding. Wow! Let's just say it was tempting not to try more sweets and desserts! Alexa was a phenomenal server with a beautiful smile and an attentive ethic that truly kept the energy lively. Our bill only came out to $34 for 2 breakfast entrees, a kids' meal, and 3 orders of ice cream. This is absolutely a neighborhood regular type of diner!

We wanted to try a local restaurant and we were craving a breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was huge, bigger than we expected. It was really good and very filling. We had a hamburger. It was fresh and cooked perfectly. Overall a great meal. They have a covered outdoor area where you can bring your dog which is really nice. The service is fantastic, they really work to take care of you.

Outstanding meals here. Always so much I take some home for another meal. Twice only in ten years has there been issue with either wait time (Manny, one of the owners, apologized and paid for my meal), or food being cooked wrong (they immediately corrected it). I'm fussy about my bacon, but after eating there 1-2 times a week the waitresses all mostly know I want it well burnt 😁. Owners and managers greet everyone! Wait staff are great. If place isn't packed with people they usually keep customers attended to often. I always sit at the high-top 'community ' tables and never have to wait (I usually eat on my own). But you're not alone at the high-tops - you can always join a conversation there. And, if you want to read, they leave you alone 😁. I love the drive up ordering area (since Covid) as I call in and pick up from my car when I want. Love their chefs salads, breakfasts, avacado omelets, turkey avacado wrap, their Cole slaw ❤️, fries with gravy, their bacon! ❤️, Greek pastitsio or a burger with tzatziki (who knew a Dutch/Scot gal would like Greek food when she despises feta cheese!?). What a great spot we found in Zephyrhills today. My client and I had to find a meeting spot without having to get on i4 and meet in Orlando! So we looked up a closer alternative and found Sunrise Eatery.

This place was poppin, and you can tell it was locals. Everyone knew everyone, and the staff was as generous as can be.

My client and I ordered a traditional breakfast with eggs, bacon, hasbrowns, and toast.

Great place and will be back if ever in the area. The manager or owner was out on the floor helping customers and present with the customers.
