I would like to express our public gratitude.

In 2023, my wife and I went to the store because I had a problem with a titanium screw on my skates. Abner managed to break the titanium screw with a lot of work and didn't charge us anything.

More than a year later, my wife had a flat tire on her bike and we returned to Links and Wheels, even though it's not close to where we live, I should repay the kindness of the past.

The tire was changed, as well as several adjustments to the bike were made for a fair and honest price.

Therefore, I want to express our gratitude, the small gesture of generosity in the past made us become loyal customers and I hope to be there tomorrow so I can buy my bike.

Please continue with this love for your work and thank you very much for your honesty.

1 For customer service via landline phone. Landline phone is significant here. I called and spoke with a lady at the shop. I gave the only little information available on a possible part number ( Really only a couple letters?). I asked if there was a number that I could text photographs and measurements to in effort to determine if they had the correct brake pads in stock. I was advised there was no cell number for me to text a photograph(s) and she was not gonna give out her personal number. I explained that before I drive to Zephyrhills I needed to know if the part is in stock, 30 minutes of driving one-way for a $10 part didn’t seem to be worth it. I wanted to know for sure! I was told there was no cell phone for me to text photographs/measurements. Get this, but she would reach out to the owner to see if they have the part and call me back. First, she doesn’t know what the part is or any details. Second, how ironic she was willing to call me back on my personal cell to exchange business information but apparently that doesn’t work the other way!
I asked for an email address to email the photographs. The response was “nope not giving you our personal email address.” I guess it was a lot less work and effort to lose a customer, than put forth a little effort to assist?

Obviously not a business I want to work with! I truly wanted to deal with local business! I try hard not to order online! . I guess I’ll do a little more research and order through Amazon. No wonder small businesses are struggling!

Nice enough staff. The map address was off by a couple of suites, but we were able to find it just before they closed. My bike was received after a quick glance. We were told it was in need of a tune up and should be getting it back in a couple of days. I plan to update this review once I get it back.

Update:

I got a call the next afternoon saying my bike was ready for pick up. They fixed what was broken and did the tune up. Has been working great for almost a week now. Will be back with all our biking needs.

He always provides solutions to no matter the issue he finds in the bike. If you don’t have a shop you are happy with you should give him a try, you’ll be impressed 💪🚴🏻‍♂️💨

Highly recommend! He fixed up 2 very neglected bikes of mine, set up my bike to hitch a toddler "trailer" and picked out a bike rack for my car. All great but he goes above and beyond. Always very friendly, never rushed us. Has helped with our roof rack 3 times despite already showing us and doesn't seem bothered we aren't catching on lol. Thanks for helping our family get exercise and fun at the same time. My son loves it!
