This is an excellent little used bookstore. They have lots of books to choose from, as well as CDs, DVDs, books on disc, and sometimes more. They have very reasonable prices and usually run sales, too. They are conveniently located inside the library building and Richard's Coffee Shop is also in the building if you need a bite to eat. There are also stores and restaurants on Central Avenue and a lovely park. One could easily make a whole day of enjoying this area. There is even a park a couple blocks away with a water feature to play and cool off, if you bring the kids. Keep in mind, the bookstore closes at four, so be sure to check it out a bit early and save the later day to wander, shop, hit the library, or play.

They have some great deals; everything is cheaper than new and from what I've seen, cheaper than buying online. They have a half-price sale on the third Saturday of every month where EVERYTHING is half off.
The prices are all marked in the upper right of the first white page of the book.
They also have DVDs, blurays, and music CDs.
Newer stuff costs more, but it's rare for anything to cost more than $9. Most of the store is $1 or $2.

This is the one and only bookstore that I'm aware of in Winter Haven...I visit frequently since relocating here several months ago....great selection and friendly volunteers. BEWARE: Bring cash or a check since no credit cards are accepted (keeps book prices reasonable!) but don't worry if you're short on funds, they'll hold for seven days. ALSO, free materials for teachers. Check out and donate to the Little Free Library they help maintain near the park fountain across the way!

Used to love this place. Now they raised tbe prices for used books, some not in great condition, to what is just under new prices in stores. This place makes 100% profit. They do not buy their product, only comes from donations. It is a shame to go into kids sections and see $7 for a used book that is only $9 at walmart. We should be encouraging children to read. This place used to bring joy now it is a disappointment.

Out of many library bookstores, this one is by far my favorite one. It has a big selection of books at a very decent price. They also have all books half price once a month, So make sure to call to find out when that would be. The staff is also super nice and helpful!!!
