Poverello in Wilton Manors is the best Thrift Store around and I love that it’s so close to my house that I could walk there if I wanted to.
Staff at store are always so nice!
I found some really great deals here.
It’s unreal that they are open DAILY from 10AM-6PM!
It’s a very well organized store and they have clean dressing rooms to try clothes on, which is so great!
I will have to take some photos my next visit but they have a Boutique section for both Men and women, which they usually have sales (like 50% off) like once a week!
There $1 clothing racks are so great too.
They are always clearing stuff out and usually have like 6 large racks of this!

My 90 year old mom bought an entertainment center without thinking about bringing it up to her 2 story condo without an elevator and up a narrow turning staircase. The manager and employees of Poverello were so wonderful in organizing & helping me figure out how to get it in her condo. The guys they sent out were amazing. Not only did they carry this heavy piece up, but they placed it and put it together exactly like she wanted. I totally recommend this store for a warm & caring shopping experience.

I recently visited the Poverello Thrift Store in Wilton Manors at 2056 N. Dixie Highway and had a really positive experience. Although I didn’t end up buying anything this time, I enjoyed browsing through their wide selection of items.

One of the highlights of my visit was using their complimentary EV charging station. The dedicated EV parking made it easy to plug in and charge my car while I shopped.

Overall, I highly recommend stopping by Poverello. Whether you’re in need of some thrift shopping or a convenient EV charging spot, it’s a wonderful place that makes a positive impact on the community.

I received the worst customer service and treatment then I have ever experienced anywherem. I asked the gentleman for the key to the restroom he asked what for to use the restroom and shave I answered I told him I would leave my bag out front that would not be your problem but he denied me all use of the restroom because I asked to shave and then cursed at me and sent me out of the store. Even though I would have been a paying customer. I'm going to tell all my friends and I want all you to know. This mind you coming from a place that helps hungry and homeless.

This place is huge! And has a great selection of pretty much everything. I was looking mostly for books and didn't have luck but the sheer amount of options was super impressive so I intend to go back

The signage is almost impossible to read from the street above the doorway. The lettering is black and the surrounding painted area is a dark, dark blue. The area around the lettering should be painted a lighter color so people know what the building is by way of the signage.

Otherwise, there are super nice people at the front cash out area and always a good mix of good used stuff, both newer and vintage.

Lots of books, cds, dinnerware, glassware, lamps, candle holders and furniture, along with racks and racks of good used clothing.
The front parking lot is often full but there's a big lot in the back to park in through the open gates to the right hand side of the building.

If you are going to donate please deliver to them, just tried to have a 2 month old sofa in perfect condition picked up. The guy hit the ceiling, walls and ground and made a huge mess, them wouldn’t take as then find out they can’t do 1 ser of steps if cannot fit in elevators . Sofa is all solid 5 min into the pick up.
