This is my open announcement to everyone. Never bring money, wallets or phones to this bar. Thieves are rampant inside the bar on weekends when it is crowded. I had put my wallet in my zippered pocket. I was checking it every minute. Somehow they stole my wallet. I quickly ran to security. Because all my vacation money, a serious budget, my visa cards, my driver's license, my ID card were inside. My entire vacation was ruined. Security didn't care much either. We reported it to the American police the next morning. My friend, a retired American police officer, was with me. A few days later I went to the bar to ask about my wallet. They found the wallet on the floor while cleaning. Of course the wallet was empty. Along with my empty wallet, other people's emptied wallets were also in the box. 7, 8 wallets. Even though I shared my contact information with the bar management, they didn't care and didn't call me. I went and asked myself. As a result, I do not recommend this unsafe place. I am sure that the bar management knows about the thieves but ignores them. Because they did not advise me to go to the police, but I did not listen and reported this situation to the American police.

First time going to Eagle at Wilton Manors. It was an experience. Didn't know what to expect. The main dance bar was great. Music was great. The bear cave was chill and laid back. Codes bar was interesting. Low light, had to be wearing fetish gear or shirtless. Was a great time. Friday night was packed but still could dance. Saturday night was jam-packed. Could not dance without hitting someone. It's a little too crowded, but that's just me. Overall, it was a great time, and I will definitely be attending next time when in ft lauderdale.

Had my mobile phone pickpocketed here. While I was very careful the staff and security gave zero interest in the theft and they didn’t even want to know about it. It just gave me the feeling that they’re all in on it.

After I told the security my phones been pickpocketed he said, “I know”.

In complete shock at his response I also asked the store attendant who was equally as uninterested in helping suggesting I come back later. No data collected from me or anything.

Until the venue stops this infestation of thieves I suggest you avoid like here like plague. The thieves are running a very professional operation here with many victims every weekend and night. They immediately put your phone in a faraday cage and drain your credit cards within minutes.

The venue doesn’t even know how bad the problem is (and likely don’t want to know) because they aren’t interested in noting your details down or anything when you report it.

The venue clearly can do more on these thefts and make serious changes in their venue to deter and remove the incentives for thieves. They say they inspect customers pockets and bags on exit, but they don’t. They have lockers, but care more about taking your cover charge money and deep inspection of bags on entry than exit.

The security demanded that I take my shirt off before I enter the back room area. Why isn’t he also requesting that all visitors check valuables at the same time? Heck, offer it for free or even include cloak in the enormous cover fees you charge.

It’s just not worth it either. Venue was too hot, below average, pushy, non-consensual crowd that doesn’t understand NO and TERRIBLE circuit music. On top of the syndicate of thieves in here I wouldn’t ruin your visit by stepping foot here until it’s fixed.

edit: since owner comment. My statement 100% stands. The lack of staff interest made me FEEL like they are all in on it, not that they are. Not interested in changing your staff behaviour or policies clearly. Staff also didn’t direct me to these pages on your website. Very poor form.

I vistited the Eagle last night. I took off my shirt to enter the back bar. Once I was back there, I put on a jacket with no shirt. A man that works there came up and asked me why I had my jacket on. I told him I was on blood thinners and was cold. He told me I had to take my jacket off or get out. I must admit that I was pissed and called him an asshole. I was asked to leave. Today I have contacted my attorney and plan on suing the Eagle. I have a disability and was treated horribly.

The entry fee is $15 in cash, and $18 more for credit card. On weekends, there are at most leather clothes and bare bodies, there are more bears, and there is also a mysly mixed box! People who like to explore exciting passion can take a look inside and have fun! Live broadcast of the performance! The blood is boiling and exciting.

Theft is a Serious Issue at The Eagle My recent visit to The Eagle was ruined by theft—8 reported cases in one night, including someone losing their wallet right in front of us. While theft happens everywhere, The Eagle is notorious for it, and the flashing neon “Pickpocket” sign in the backroom is ridiculous way to glorify it rather than addressing patrons. Yes, there are lockers but that's a place to store your extra stuff. As travellers, we may not be thinking this is a means to avoid theft. Watch it upstairs...us guys who want to check out the backroom have to take shirts off, and if you're horny and having a few drinks, your guard is down. It's a perfect opportunity for thieves to grope guys and steal their wallets or phones. Instead of addressing the problem, the bar deflects blame onto customers. Worse, the manager we spoke to was hostile and unhelpful. If this were my bar, I’d prioritize customer safety with better security, clear warnings, and a transparent theft report. This recurring issue ruined part of our trip. It’s time for The Eagle to take action and protect its patrons. Please don't let this happen to you!

Having security snidely tell me I should have gotten a locker when my wallet and phone were pickpocketed is not an answer you should be giving. This is not a safe space. I also saw someone have their face smashed in last year and it took security 5 minutes to get to the people fighting. You need to do more and stop making excuses like above.

I come to Wilton Manors every year for my birthday in January, and usually with a group of friends as well. The WM Eagle is always my bar of choice. The music is bumpin from the awesome DJs, the drinks are top notch, and security is constantly scanning the crowds to ensure everyone's safety. The staff is so amazing and friendly, that I've been fortunate to make friends with some of them, as well as the owner. They all care about both the bar and their patrons satisfaction. I miss my hometown Eagle in Pittsburgh (which is long gone now), but I'm glad I have my Wilton Manors Eagle to always come back to.✌
