Had service dog. I asked for water in a bowl. Remarked it was a code violation. It is not. I went out got my own water bowl. Manager said same thing. They did not bring silverware or napkins. Not worth the hassle.

I am not sure why there are so many 5 ⭐ reviews. Pick up order , medium burger was rare, and completely grease soaked. Fries were under cooked and grease soaked.Western omelette tasted like salt, home fries so old and hard they were not edible. Won't be back

Had breakfast and came home and got sick. Think the eggs were bad. They tasted kinda funny. Service was great.

Morning after the big storm. Went out to Rick's Cafe. Just moved in the area. Been looking for a nice Mom and Pop place to eat. Server was pleasant. Food was ok. Nothing special. A $.60 up charge for rye toast. I'm 80 years old. Never happened before. $3.00 for crappie coffee. Cash only. I'll still be looking for a close breakfast place. I don't mind paying but I love well prepared tasty food. None of that found here.

First time at Rick's. Surprised it was cash only because we don't carry much cash. The ATM in there charges $3.50 plus bank charge. Coffee was not that great. Food was bland and just mediocre. Service was ok. I thought it could use a good cleaning. There were a lot of people in there, so I guess a lot like it there. I would not return.

This place is very uncomfortable right when you walk in the door. You are not greeted by staff and told where to sit or seat yourself. You are stared at the whole time you're there.
We were asked right away what we wanted to eat and drink without a menu.
After asking for a menu we received one and ordered.
My husband ordered the waffle sandwich. When it came it was eggs waffle, microwave bacon and fake eggs. Refrigerator cold.
I ordered the western omlette and it was filled with some sort of canned vegetable hash. The only think that was warm was the nuked cheese on top.
We have gone to alot of restaurants and been disappointed at the quality but never have we been served an eggo waffle and charged $8.00 for it.

They immediately brought the check with the food and never came back.

Hands down one of the worst dining experiences we have experienced and what's sad is this is supposed to be local comfort food. We are locals and didn't feel comfortable.

A nice cozy down home last of the original cafes!! The server Alexis was kind, friendly, polite and the whole atmosphere was just nice. Oh and by the way the food was delicious and lots of it. Thank you!!

Loved it, this place was neat, delicious food, old style dine in 30 years in business, country tradition southern breakfast and lunch restaurant, should be here for ever to stay
