They resell low-quality wholesale clothing and only do store credit for returns. Ironic.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience shopping at Arete Style. I purchased a dress there on Monday, November 28th, while their Black Friday sale was still running. I wasn't sure I was going to keep the dress, so I asked the employee working, Mary-Kate, about the return policy BEFORE I purchased the dress. She informed me that I would be able to return the dress for store credit, so I purchased it. Unfortunately, the dress didn't work out, so I went to return it on Wednesday, November 30th. I was then told that they were unable to accept any returns purchased during the Black Friday sale, even though I was told I would be able to return it. I then sent an email to management, and they responded and told me there was nothing they could do about it. I will never wear this dress, and I would've much rather exchanged it for something else from the store that I would actually wear. Now I have lost a significant amount of money because of the mistake of an employee. I will never shop here again.

Arete is the cutest clothing store downtown Athens with reasonable prices!! They have tons of red and black clothes which is always needed. The employees are so welcoming and helpful check them out!
