Fantastic sushi $5-14.00 for the rolls depending how fancy. Fresh daily!! Are made by a couple of Asian employees that had to have worked at sushi bars. I make a special stop here when I crave sushi, with a blanket and a good movie at home.

I shop here but the homeless hanging around are a deterrent to many shoppers. There was a purse snatching last week, people casing cars and stealing in the store which happens in front of shoppers. Staff is instructed not to stop shop lifters. The parking lot blacktop is some of the worst around. However the staff is polite and helpful. The store is well stocked with good prices. I will continue to shop here for now but won't give money to the pan handlers positioned around the area. My advise is to shop here in the daytime and keep your eye on your purse.

Great store, always well stocked, friendly employees, would have 5 stars except it's ALWAYS so busy! Kinda stressful when you're in a hurry. Definitely should consider bringing back the 10 items or less rule at self checkout, or at least provide a speedy option. An 80yr old woman taking 30 minutes to check out her weeks worth of groceries by herself is a bit ridiculous. Anyway, I shop here almost every day, so needless to say I deal with it and help when I can.

If I could give zero stars I would. I placed an online order for pick up like I usually do at least once a week, and when I got home ( two minutes later) I realize that I had gotten the wrong size of mayonnaise so I immediately went back to the store to exchange it. I pulled up my receipt on my phone to show to Gina who was working at the customer service desk, handed her the jar of mayonnaise, she then barked at me “ has this been used!? I explained to her I just picked up my delivery order five minutes ago, then she barked, “I need your Frys card!” so I plugged in my Frys card. I then said to her don’t you need my receipt so that you can see what I paid for it ? Her reply was “I just need your Frys card!” I said to her I want you to look at my receipt because I used a coupon and I would like it applied to this purchase and she very quickly and very happily stated, oh, you lose that as soon as you return something! She was so pleased with herself, by this time I’m visibly pissed off, I thought about asking for a manager, but I thought I don’t wanna bother… Until she said to me, “why don’t you try breathing! “. That’s when I decided to call the Store Manager. So when I got in the car I did just that and Gina answered the phone and she knew it was me. She asked me what is this regarding so I know who to call lol nice try Gina.
I spoke to the manager, explained how hostile she was and what she said to me and his response was “oh my God!”
(Like I told him we have choices. I can have Amazon deliver my food, Safeways just up the road)
He offered to give me a five dollar gift card but as I mentioned to him, I don’t want a five dollar gift card. I just wanted the dollar coupon off my mayonnaise. I doubt anything will be done, but I can tell you as someone who has been a manager of a store before, this would not fly in my store, she would be given a write up or terminated for her rude behavior towards customers.

Not the easiest to navigate in the winter time. Summer is coming soon, and all the snowbirds will be leaving, and it will be a lot easier to shop here. The parking lot is always extremely full and people are very rude. In the parking lot and cars have been hit and they just drive off. I've watched it happen.

Good selection, a lot of older generations here so might have to bag your own groceries, but as long as you're not in a rush it's a great fries (gas there is typically cheaper too

I have lived in Sun City for 8 years. I cook and bake alot for other people (shut-ins, ill people, etc.). I used to go to this store (on Grand Ave) almost daily for my latest cooking project, but I avoid it like the plague now and go out of my way to other stores to get my groceries.
There is a large population of panhandlers and petty criminals allowed and catered to in the area, and they are very bold towards the customers in the parking lot. One panhandler even has his large dog (a pitbull?) with him. (How can he afford a dog if he has to beg for money)
The parking lot is crowded/difficult to maneuver; and traffic & customer flow is horrible.
The carts are strewn throughout the parking lot - LAZY (& rude) people shop here and leave their carts out instead of putting them in the supplied collection racks.
And then there are all the people trying to get your signature on every kind of political issue, or trying to sell something, or collect money for something. Some are worthy causes but it gets exhausting (and expensive!) before even getting in the door!
Once I am in the door, I realize I should have brought a cart in with me from the parking lot because there are none inside the store. (Something I have recently started doing at any store to help out the employee trying to keep up with gathering carts.)
By the way, the cart area inside the store on Grand Ave. needs a good sweeping and cleaning.
Grocery shopping is annoying enough with all the apps/coupons/digital coupons/BOGO'S/buy 5/buy 3, etc etc etc.; I don't want to deal with all the other issues too, or feel unsafe while I do it.
