Went in to get new shoes because I'm on my feet 12 hours per day at work. We were welcomed instantly by James Wilde. He understood exactly what I needed and came back with three very good options. This place has always been amazing, whenever I need great reliable shoes for walking or running RunFlagstaff is where I go. Recently I purchased some shoes for my trip in Seoul where I knew I would do a lot of walking. Ray helped me find the perfect shoes I needed and wore them fresh out of the box. There was no need to “break them in”. They were perfect and helped me walk an average 17,000 steps/day for two weeks!!

So good! Store is clean and looks great! I need to get new shoes after retiring my other pair, Kristie was super helpful, knowledgeable and got me hooked up with just what I needed! We’re on a road trip from Seattle to Florida, and I forgot to pack running shorts: bummer! We were passing through Flagstaff on our way from Grand Canyon (Oh My God) where happily I didn’t need short anything as it was 43 and rain. Old Route 66 passes by Run Flagstaff and something about the storefront caught my eye, so I flipped a u-turn, my long-suffering wife hardly batting an eye, and we went in.
The design and materials inside and out are highly esthetic, giving a nice feeling. I got my shorts and a pair of Altria trail shoes. Of course Ruth bought some stuff too (she puts up with me for a reason) and we chatted up the extremely knowledgeable owner. I’ve run almost every day for 55 years and this was one of the best running gear stores I’ve ever been in.
