35 year old Latino walking in. Saying high to security with my friends. Trying to buy and being followed when I'm trying to purchase. Was a terrible experience. Explained it to management did not care. It's understandable they are doing their job. But was expecting an apologie. Sucks we did not get a Tratrader Joes.

If I could give this review a negative star I would.
So after paying for my 1 item and putting it in my pocket as I was walking out "Robert" at the self check out station decided to Harass me and approached me very aggressively asking me if I paid for my 1 item. He didn't ask for a receipt either.He was way too close and I felt like he was going to grab me or hit me . I was already having a bad day and then this guy does that. He could have gotten hurt acting the way he did with me. Then he started throwing insults telling me I was a "young punk" , mind you I'm in my 40's and probably older than him smh. That guy Robert does not need to be in Customer Service he needs to be working graveyard stocking in the back away from paying customers. I've never been treated like that before at Nob Hill Horrible experience

This is kind of my current go to grocery store. Maybe a little less upkept than a SafeWay but much better than a Lucky's. Its good. Has a lot of variety of groceries. Its a little pricey but not Whole Food pricey so its not bad. I would rate it 5 stars is they had lower prices.

Outrageously over priced, it's hard to find what you're looking for and their app is the worst - skips around all over the place and wouldn't let me add the deals while I was in store so i couldn't even take advantage of the so-so sale prices. If it wasn't close, I would never shop there again.

Very friendly staff and very helpful. Easy to find and plenty of parking. This store carries 2 of my favorite products Angelo Pietro Salad dressings and Yamasa soy sauce.

Very clean store, high prices. On average, from Walmart or Food Maxx, prices were 70% higher. We stopped in to grab some road snacks, thinking it would be cheaper than gas station food or quickie mart food. We were both wrong.

Clean store, super friendly staff, decent prices.

2/25/25, stopped in last night to pick up a few items. We stopped by the deli, and my wife got a sandwich (she said it was good). I grabbed a container of Mac&Cheese (son loves their mac&cheese). I got about 5-6 chicken tenders. The chicken tenders had clearly been sitting in the case for a while as they were dried out and hard. I ended up throwing them away. Normally, when we get food from the deli, it's always good. Maybe next time, I will ask for a small sample before buying.

I’ve been shopping at Nob Hill Foods for almost 30 years. I’ve found that this store is very reasonably priced compared to Safeway, especially if you become a member and clip the savings! The employees are some of the best people in this town, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I know many of them now after shopping there for years. One of the managers named Vince is exceptional!! He’s always working and available to help you at any time. If I have to criticize anything I would say that there are way too many store brand products. I wish they would carry more of the name brands like they used to a few years back. Store brands just aren’t the same quality or taste.
