I adore blicks. This isn’t an option for those who live in Canada so whenever I see a city has one- im all over it.
This one is in the university district. Tucked away in a lot at the back. It’s quite the large parking lot but still can be difficult to navigate with larger vehicle. You need to be mindful of all the people walking around because they’re not always mindful it seems.
The storefront is simple, modern.
The actual store itself is well organized by craft type. It’s smaller than it appears to be externally but they have EVERYTHING you might need. Good quality brands of papers, brushes & paints. They have portfolios and storage solutions for your art work. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.
The store is clean.
I would recommend this location absolutely.

The manager, Cecilia, and her team are incredible. I was in a terrible pinch due to an unexpected delay with an online order caused by FedEx, and the folks here were more than willing to help me create a similar order to pick up in store as a back-up while I tried to figure things out with FedEx. Within just a couple hours of calling them with my issue, Cecilia's team called back with a workable substitute order to ensure I did not need to cancel or postpone our arts workshop. Huge thank you to this store for the wonderful customer service and timely assistance!

The store offers a good selection of art supplies. As a store that serves students at the nearby university and local community colleges it is nice to see the staff remain considerate of student's time and budget requirements. The people working the store on the day we visited went out of their way to fill requests and answer questions. Thanks for your help!

Smaller Art Store, Framing Services, basic basic gear. Very Popular due to proximity to ASU (Lots of beginning art students in there).
I went in for Lamy Caligraphy gear, but they only carry speedball (They Only Carry Lamy ROLLERBALL pens, no caligraphy/replacement nibs, but they DO carry BLUE INK refills for fountain pens, no other color).
Amazon Strongly Suggested Unless It's An Emergency and you were partying too hard and need to turn SOMETHING in within the hour for an A+ ?

Kat helped me frame 3 diplomas and they turned out beautiful! I brought in my own homemade frames and she treated them with care and I liked that both them and my papers were insured while they were in Blick’s possession. The anti-reflective museum glass is so crisp, the mats are so clean, and they were professionally packaged/well-protected when I picked them up.

Bait and switch pricing really left a sour taste in my mouth. On their website prices are significantly cheaper than what they are in store. So if you go into the store and expect to pay what they advertise online, you're in for a surprise.
