Carl was a very good salesman, but he also educated us on authentic Hopi and Navajo Indian crafts vs imported knockoffs. He even has pictures of the artisans that he buys from and can tell all about the people themselves and what they do. I appreciated his candor and friendliness. If you are looking for Indian jewelry or crafts, or petrified wood, I highly recommend you stop and check it all out. You will not be sorry!

This place have neat hand crafted ear rings, bracelets, and necklaces, as well as knives, bows and arrows and money clippers. Super beautiful. They have shirts and so much more. Great atmosphere and I was treated so kindly. There's a lot of years and experiences bundled up in this place. Please visit it when you can.

They answered lots of questions and have a lot of items that are not typical gift shop. It was refreshing to be in a real trading post for a change. I bought several items for gifts and two for myself. Kachina dolls for only $18. Can't beat that. But buyer beware, the blankets and ponchos are made in Mexico, which the person will tell you right away; they definitely don't misrepresent. Prices so good though I bought one because I really like them.

First time going was in March with my family. Cool little shop but wasnt able to buy. Said we d be back April 20th. Went up on April 20th. Got there around 1 pm, gates closed. I was pretty bummed, planned on buying some ghost beads that day and who knows what else. Had my cousin and his family tag along also. Sad day indeed.

Was not impressed. They have their own collection of rugs. When asked were we could purchase the just said “ they are really expensive and hard to find”. There are actually Navajo auctions. That are held monthly to purchase authentic weaving. Was surprised they wouldn’t promote this.

The man behind the counter was great, he helped us with any questions and kept an eye on his grandson at the same time.
