ONLINE ORDERS can be returned for IN-STORE CREDIT ONLY - NO EXCEPTIONS! I ordered a large number of one style of skirt for my daughters and did not realize Darlin's return policy when I placed my order. Unfortunately the skirts, although cute, did not fit right and needed to be returned.

I asked Jenna Evans, the owner, if I could have my money returned, and she said no. That I should watch her website and order something else from there as she would not give me my money back, only in-store credit.

After looking through her entire website, I could not find anything that would work for my girls (especially for that large of an amount of money). I asked Jenna if she could charge me for the shipping costs to mail me the skirts as well as an appropriate handling fee for restocking, since there were no other items on her website that were appropriate for what my girls could use. She replied "As the business owner, I have made the decision not to refund your money. You should have already received the gift card from your return. I suggest that you keep checking back as our inventory on our website is always changing."

I had already told her that there were no other items on her site (and checked it more than once over time) that would work for my girls. I understand that Darlin's is her business, and she can choose how she does or does not interact with her customers. I guess I'll just have to place an order for something with my "gift card" so someone at Goodwill can at least get some use out of it.

Disappointing experience. Should have read the fine print before I ordered, although I don't know that I would have realized the policy even if I had read it, as it is on the obscure side. Dumb of me, next time I'll check the return policy before I buy from an unknown store.

i ordered a dress on here some time ago and i instantly fell in love!! it was so soft and great quality. i wear it almost every day!! the shipping is really fast too! i also ordered a few more things yesterday and i can't wait to get them! this is by far one of my favorite modest boutiques ever!!

I ordered a dress, but a button loop was broken and it was too big. The customer service was very quick and helpful, I have no complaints there. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because when I return something I like the refund to go back on my card. They would only give me store credit. Makes me not want to buy anything there again because if it doesn’t fit again I don’t want more store credit. So just FYI because I would want to know. Otherwise they seem to be very friendly and have nice products

Jena has always been so prompt responding to sizing questions and they quickly fill your orders . The shipping is so reasonable too. Be sure to give them your business you won’t be sorry !

I ordered the Mila dress online. It arrived very quickly. The description was accurate, as this dress is fitted more loosely. I absolutely love this dress and wear it often. It is so comfortable and I would recommend ordering online! (Did I mention the dress was only $10) What a steal!
